Mark Levin Lashes Out at Donald Trump: 'Might as Well Vote for Jeb Bush'
The Blaze ^ | January 25, 2016 | Fred Lucas

Posted on 01/26/2016 10:56:21 PM PST by Cincinatus' Wife

Conservative talk radio host Mark Levin said that Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump was similar to an establishment Republican compromiser after the real estate mogul pledged earlier to work closely with Democratic leaders in Congress.

"You might as well vote for Jeb Bush," Levin said. "I bet he would get along with Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi or Chuck Schumer. Lindsey Graham gets along with them great. Marco Rubio got along with them great."

In an interview Tuesday on MSNBC's Morning Joe, Trump said, "I've always had a good relationship with Nancy Pelosi. I've never had a problem. Reid will be gone." He added, "I was always very good with Schumer. I was close to Schumer in many ways. It's important that you get along."

While speaking well of House Minority Leader Pelosi of California, the likely next Democratic Senate Leader Schumer of New York and retiring Senate Democratic leader Reid of Nevada, Trump called his Republican primary opponent Texas Sen. Ted Cruz "nasty."

"He just talks up Reid. He just talks up Pelosi. He just talks up Schumer and he trashes the hell out of the most conservative member of the United States Senate," Levin said.

"It's not a matter of getting along with people and cutting deals," Levin said. "It's a matter of moving the country, persuading the country, persuading the Republican party to follow you," Levin continued. "That's what a statesman does. That's what Churchill did. That's what Thatcher did. That's what Reagan did. That's what you have to do, or you might as well vote for Jeb Bush. I bet he would get along with Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi or Chuck Schumer. Lindsey Graham gets along with them great. Marco Rubio got along with them great. For some people this is perfectly fine. I'm troubled by it."

Don’t forget the 6 figure donation to the Clinton Foundation.

Right!

Trump has donated (among others) to Harry Reid, Hillary Clinton, the Clinton Global Initiative, Chuck Schumer, Anthony Weiner, Charlie Rangel, John Kerry, Ted Kennedy, the Democratic Congressional Campaign , well as, John Boehner and Mitch McConnell.

Reagan must be the worst President the GOP had

He was President for 8 Years and had a Democratic House and had pass a lot of bills rebuilt the Military and lowered taxes.

Damn in my Civics class you needed a Democratic House and 60 votes for Reagan to pass laws.

I wonder if Mark was there watching Reagan?

I loved Reagan, but let’s tell the truth. Reagan made a deal because his top priority was to defeat the USSR and he did it. The deal was made with Tip and Foley - they got what they wanted and Reagan got what he needed and they funded it with deficit spending. That model became the new model for our government - both parties got what they wanted.

I will defend Reagan on almost anything, but he (and Tip and Foley) were the first architects of the government model we have today and it’s killing us. We bankrupted the USSR in an Arms Race and our politicians are going to bankrupt our nation using the same spending model that Reagan agreed to in the 80’s.

Nobody in D.C. has to make hard decisions anymore. There are no priorities. It truly is a chicken in every pot and the welfare state has ballooned into a 900# gorilla that will stand on our children and grandchildren. Don’t hear much talk about that from the candidates today do we?

“Levin takes Trump’s quotes out of proportion even though the context was he would be a guy to get results through Congress. Levin is lying to his audience making it sound like Trump is intending on giving up without a fight.”

“Mark Levin Lashes Out at Donald Trump: ‘Might as Well Vote for Jeb Bush’”

that tells you everything you need to know about Mark Levin right there: Donald Trump = Yeb! Bush.

Levin conveniently ignores that the fact that only a few weeks ago, Trump singularly upset the whole election apple cart!

Trump set the national agenda by opposing illegal immigration and bringing up other issues that the GOPe and their allies desperately wanted to avoid, and now they can’t.

The GOPe was not prepared for this, and as a consequence they don’t have a clue about what to do, hence their almost universal collapse into a pile of quivering jello, flip-flopping like a bag of Mexican jumping beans dumped on a hot griddle.

Trump has exposed those who pretend to be conservative but are really just fronts for big money establishment campaign donors who purchase their candidates with campaign “donations”.

Trump, by actually being a real man, has exposed the other candidates (Cruz excepting of course) and their allies for the weak little sniveling sellouts that they really are.

Trump’s vociferous truth-telling and fearless neutering of the kommie media have been the catalyst that triggered a massive revolt amongst conservative voters who are infuriated at the GOPe Congress doing absolutely ZERO to stop Obama’s agenda, and suddenly the GOP RINO leadership is in full blown panic mode and in full blown retreat, and the SMALL conservative House contingent smelt blood in the water, took heart, and charged in against a weakened, frightened and paralyzed GOPe leadership, and Boehner was taken out as a sacrificial lamb.

Trump is absolutely correct when he says that without Trump in the race, everything would be same-ol’, same-ol. The Joyful Tippy-Toes Turtle would be creeping closer to the finish line, Boehner would still be safely ensconced as Speaker, and there would be no mention of illegal immigration are any of the issues surrounding it by any politician in either party, other than possibly how critical it would be to pass immigration “reform”.

The media are loath to make the connection, but it’s obvious that the Boehner resignation was yet another falling domino, toppling due to the Trump Effect, because Trump’s unabashed truth-telling and fearless neutering of the kommie media triggered a revolt amongst the great unwashed GOP masses which emboldened a few conservative Congress critters to grow a few pairs.

And our nation wouldn’t even be having ANY of these conversations about illegal immigration and the myriad of other Obammunist issues destroying our country if it wasn’t for Trump. Instead, we’d simply be debating which RINO, GOPe squish would be least likely to be stomped by Hillary, and the GOPe would once again be exhorting the “base” about how critical it is for us to once again vote for the “lesser of two evils”, that is, vote for the GOPe side of the Uniparty coin.

And do note that ALL of the oligarchs and plutocrats are frightened to death of Donald Trump because the billionaires and millionaires can’t buy him like all of the other politicians they routinely purchase, because Trump doesn’t need nor want their money, and the kommie media is frightened to death of him because he isn’t afraid of them either, the bottom line being that Donald Trump can not be controlled by the rich and powerful or the corrupt media, so for anyone who is truly for campaign finance reform and wants to take money out of politics, voting for Trump is the only reasonable choice.

President Trump is really the last hope for this country: if he can’t undo any of the damage wrought by the Obammunists, the U.S.A. is done.

So least we forget, the above, and much more, are called “The Trump Effect”.

NONE of the radio guys pretend to be disinterested, they are all opinion shows. Hewitt claims to be agnostic on who win the R nomination but he calls it masterful when trump makes con law arguments that Hewitt himself has called absurd. so not thinking he is all that agnostic. I will give him some benefit of the doubt in that he say good things about all the R candidates

Sen. Jeff Sessions gave a full-throated defense of Sen. Ted Cruz at an event Friday in Daphne,

Neither Sessions, or anyone at that time was opposing legalization of illegals, provided they were barred from citizenship and this legalization happened after the border is secured.

The whole fight about the Gang of Eight and Cruz supposedly "being there" and fighting is really all quite irrelevant, because the fight was never about legalization. It was about an "amnesty" defined as "a pathway to citizenship". Even Rush Limbaugh supported legalization at that time:

"I have never said, whatever number are here illegally, "Round 'em up and deport 'em." It isn't realistic. We have to stop the influx. So you can't pose a question to me, "Okay, Mr. Limbaugh, after we secure the borders..." the borders are key. And then we come up with a plan, I could give you two or three of them that would help legalize these people if they're willing to assimilate. We don't want a Balkanized America, and that's what this is leading to. It's just a matter of following the law"

Rush on Immigration

Cruz is relying on this confusion between a fight against amnesty vs. support for legalization in order to lie to his supporters, since Cruz actually supported legalization, calling it part of "common sense immigration reform," even after the gang of eight fight was over.

Cruz is lying to his supporters, and his supporters on this website refuse to acknowledge it, even as they squeeze and gnaw on every word that comes out of Trump's mouth.

Geez, if any other candidate had said what Trump has said or donated to people that he has donated to, he would be pilloried on this forum by 99% of the Freepers. And anyone who supported him would not be long for this forum.

But Donald THE ONE Trump has promised to build THE WALL, and has blinded 50% of the people on this forum.

He is a con man. The more he talks, the more evident it becomes. It’s just that most people won’t listen because all they care about is THE WALL!

No other candidate in this election has ever donated even a dime to Pelosi or Schumer or Reid or Clinton. Yet Mark Levin has gone “Completely off the deep end” because he is willing to point that out?
____________________
Show me a list of ANY donations by ANY candidates that come from their very own pocketbooks. Won’t find many.

When I say Mark Levin is off the deep end, I am referring to his constant raving that he is doing. Check out his Twitter feed. He is just so far out there, its tough to take him seriously.

LISTEN TO TRUMP - HIS OWN WORDS!

I have listened and that was my conclusion. You think that just spamming and pointing at something as controversial that it must really be, rather than the desperation of Cruz supporters on this website who have become increasingly shrill and abusive.

Well, in your case, you were always shrill, but it's become contagious.

Close. But there's one other point.

Trump in his heart feels he has the Presidency, other things being equal.

He now has to look to see how he can advance his populist agenda against both the GOPe *and* the Dems.

Well, the GOP-e folds worse than the Boston Red Sox late in the pennant race; they're no threat.

But the Dems are masters at lying through their foul teeth and getting people to believe *anything*.

So Trump is glad handing the Dems (on video, too), long before he even has the nomination.

So when Schumer, Reid, Pelosi, all go on George Stehpanopoulos' show to whisper what a "dangerous extremist" Trump is, he can pull out these videos from what will have been "a year ago" showing how he wanted to work with them.

It's fascinating to see Fox's desperation to destroy Trump: one wonders if is the Jeb crowd upset at his missing his coronation, if it is the Cuckservatives being worried about being left out of the cocktail parties, or the DC establishment who have their own blue dress stained with Saudi oil...
