Speaking to the Aspen Institute on February 6, Michael Bloomberg said cities should ban young minority males from owning guns, both as an effort to reduce crime and to keep those minority males "alive."

Really Bloomie? So you’re saying that by making a law that will remove guns from young minority males is going work? Maybe you should have it printed in all CAPS and use red ink. That surely will work better than the gun laws already on the books that they’re disobeying.

They are already precluded from legal firearms purchases. A valid picture ID with confirmed address is required when filling out a 4474, and it’s nearly impossible for an inner city minority to get one, which is why we are the only country in the world to not require a picture ID when voting.

No. Planned Parenthood’s Sanger would probably want to give them free guns so they could reduce the population themselves.
And keep young bearded males who wipe their a$$es with their left hand from owning machetes or matches.
I recently compiled the demographics and crime tables for 50 states + DC (51). I color-coded population density, murder rate per 100,000, gun murders per 100,000, % gun ownership, and percent of Hispanics + blacks. I color-coded each column with 3 colors, for the highest 17 states in each column, the middle 17 and the bottom.
Visually, I found only slight correlation between population density and murder rates. Even between red and blue states, there was no real correlation. The biggest correlation was between murders and race and between gun murders and race.
I added another column, percent of murders done by guns and found interesting correlations. Race of course was huge, but interestingly, among the states with the most murders and gun murders, gun murders comprised the highest percent. (e.g. Louisiana, 82% of the murders were by gun and their overall murder rate was 9.6. By comparison, Vermont had only 30% of murders by gun and an overall murder rate of 1.1.
I suppose Bloomberg is correct in his identification of the source of the problem, but as usual for Leftists, his solution is poor.
Maybe make them sit in jail a bit as well.
Sort of like taxing tobacco to offset future health costs.
This way, when ultimately sentenced, they’ll have some time accumulated from the get go.

Hmmm...last time I checked, nondriver picture ID is anyone’s for the asking if they can get to DMV or county offices.
Of course, it’s wacist to expect potential voters to produce photo ID. Makes it easier for Musloid invaders to vote, too.
Actually, how about banning all people who vote D from owning guns? That would cut down drastically on the murder rate, especially the mass killers.
Good thing we have a flexible SCOTUS who will retire obsolete rights like 2nd amendment and create new needed ones......like gay marriage and the right to be treated the sex that we wish we were.
