With the republican primary race now heading to South Carolina we take a look at the last verifiable polling (large sample, low MOE) which was taken by NBC and the Wall Street Journal in January (full pdf below).

Remember the golden rule of MSM polling. “When polls are silent, it generally means the outcomes are adverse to their preferred media narrative."

I want to see all that energy translate into real votes. Votes that are counted.

But if ten thousand plus people showed up for a Cruz rally, you would be wetting your pants.

I think it looks more like the Obama voters, who always look for a “King”, have found a replacement.......that didn't work out so good for the nation now did it? Crowds never do get it right if we look to history......heck they even chose Barabbas.

Cal, you put out a lot of facts here—

One thing I know you are wrong about is Common Core. Trump has explicitly stated he is against it and will get rid of it.

Soo what else are you wrong about?

Why Trump will be elected president: 1. He has no reason to push for the cheap labor express, which is killing the American middle class. Every other candidates running are career politicians, with uber rich sugar daddies controlling them. Watch with your own lying eyes, Teddy pushing for path to legal status illegals and bring them out of the shadows.

Path to Legal Status for Illegals

Cheap Foreign Workers on H1-B visa

Your Lyin Eyes

2. Trump is a world class builder. He has built more real things than all 44 presidents combined. No candidate knows how to build a thousand mile long wall better than Trump. Trump has a history of finishing his building projects ahead of schedule and under budget. Not a single candidate running can make that claim. Teddy has never built even an out house.

3. Only Trump will deport ALL illegals. All others are on record for some form of amnesty to illegals. This country should never condone law breaking. All laws must be enforced. The existing law stipulates deportation of illegals.

4. Trump was the first candidate with courage to say anchor babies are not citizens.

5. Trump is the only candidate who brought up the issue of Trillion dollar foreign trade deficits EVERY YEAR. And is the only candidate who has actually done foreign trade personally on all 5 continents. The foreign trade deficits are the main reason middle class jobs have gone to China, and other countries.

Actually it did. He won NH by more than 2:1 over 2nd place,
with more votes received than any recent winner in contested primaries in NH.

And he broke the record of votes received of all previous winners in Iowa. If Cruz does not steal Carson votes, who knows what would be the result.

Can anyone remember a candidate drawing these kind of crowds during primary season? Unprecedented.

Happened nearly a century ago in Germany.

Desperate people are easily led. Facts are we are desperate for someone that tells the truth about everyday life.

I don’t want to misunderstand your statement. What are you saying...or perhaps I should ask, what are you trying to say here....

It’s really heartbreaking to see this........a replay of the same voters who brought us Obama, who gravitate toward any movement they can ‘feel’ they belong to regardless of who it is they’re following. They simply need to “feel” a part of it.

If this continues, (and Trump is doing the very same things Obama did with the same result.....appealing to the masses and their emotions...and they are ripe for deception as we know....the same desperation for “change” they believed Obama would bring is being witnessed today in these mass gatherings)......we will get exactly what we deserve rather than what we need.

I have been Trump/Cruse fan, but tonight on OnThe Record with Greta, Cruz misrepresented what Trump has said so badly, I was embarrassed. If Cruz has to stretch and twist things so badly, he isn’t the guy for me, so I have gone to just Trump as my choice. I have gone back and forth so long, not knowing really who I would go for, but after this Cruz interview with Greta, I am back in the Trump column pretty solidly.

He is desperate because his candidate is not attracting huge crowds. So he has to find a comparison which does not make logical sense.

Hitler’s ambition was to conquer other lands and grow the Third Reich. he was a megalomaniac. Trump is the opposite, he was against the Iraq war. Trump is only interested in making America Great.

Hitler was never successful in business, finance or construction. He was a corporal in the army, and in civilian life was basically an agitator and community organizer. Much closer to Obama. Trump is a world class builder, 10,000 times richer than Hitler ever dreamed to be.

Hitler never got married, had no children. Trump has a beautiful family.

Posters who make illogical posts put on display their lack of knowledge of history.

I thought I was a conservative Republican, but as of today,
I found that I am a pragmatic Republican. Very interesting.

Awesome post, entropy12!

Two Cruznadians have compared Trump to Hitler tonight. Up until now, I’ve only seen this happen three times over the last three months here.

So yes, some of the Cruzperados are reeking of desperation.

Your post was the first time I’ve seen the comparison between Hitler and Trump completely demolished. And I appreciate your effort.

I had no idea Obama promised a border wall, vowed Mexico would pay for it, became the first candidate to publicly stand with the survivors of foreign invader death and destruction, made fixing veteran’s issues a top priority, committed to rebuilding our military, and singlehandedly destroyed PC.

Are you sure we’re talking about the same Obama? Because I’m seeing no similarities to Trump at all.
