U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, a conservative in the highest court in the land, died in his sleep last night while on a hunting trip in Texas at the age of 79, further tipping what is supposed to be the highest court in the land.
Supreme Court justices are appointed for life. There are nine of them: the Chief Justice of the United States and eight associate justices.
President Obama has already nominated TWO of the nine justices in there... FOR LIFE. Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor. Now Obama is going to get a third?
That means a full 33 percent -- ONE THIRD -- of the Supreme Court will be derived from one of the worst presidents this nation has ever endured. And they're there for life.
Think about that for a second. Just let that sink in.
This phony American already has Congress eating out of his hand and now he will have the highest court in the land voting for whatever he wants. It's a no lose situation for Barry and we can be certain he will use it to his advantage.
It's time for Congress to begin thinking about patriotism and block every damned thing this cretin tosses at them for the rubber stamp.
What America doesn't need is another lesbian on the court, or another America-hating clone.
Who accompanied the Justice on this hunting trip? We need all the facts.

That would be true if the nominee Obama submits is confirmed. We should be ensuring our Senate does not confirm ANY nominee he submits, period. It isn’t a year; it is 9 or 10 months to the new Administration. This Muslim must not be allowed to pollute our court any further.
When the Constitution was written, life expectancy was 50. With today’s life expectancy being 80, appointments to the SCOTUS should be limited to no more than 20 years on the bench. That would limit the amount of damage that a president like Obama can do in appointing someone in their 40s to carry out an agenda for 40 years after that president is gone.
The GOP controlled Senate would have to do a long stall job. And not cave as they usually do to obama. It would tilt the balance of the court to liberal again.
Obama will announce a candidate. Republicans will delay. The Democrats will use that as proof the Republicans play politics with the judiciary, ignoring the fact that both sides do. And they will use it as a campaign issue.
Stall for just a few months ... by summer everyone can say it’s too close to the election
Stall and do nothing. Obama only gets to nominate.
How convenient this comes about on an election year
Due to Scalia’s sad death, a fourth of the Supreme Court has been appointed by the communist usurper. If that number moves to one third, it’s due to betrayal by Mitch McConnell, supported by at least a few treasonous republicans in the US Senate.

Good. Delay the pick all year, and let the MSM mewl and make hay of it, but let the voters decide. Not homobama.
I understand. It is up to each of us to threaten their respective Senators with the Holy Hell of Voter Wrath if they do confirm ANY nominee the Muslim Obama submits.
The Senate at large does not have to give a reason why they won’t confirm; it need only to not do so. Screw the Democrats. I also submit - how long has Hillary and the State Department “stalled” on Benghazi and her email server? Democrats will always complain unless you do exactly what they want. It is up to all of us to stop that.

Miguel Estrada was filibustered for two years and finally dropped out. That was the Democrats.
That means the Republicans will never do this.

Barry is going into overdrive his last year, knock off the judge now he will go after the 2nd amendment. No surprise there, we all expected this. Next he will be raining Islamo Nazis down upon us in the disguise of “refugees”, then mass rapes with inability to defend because the guns are gone.
This is vital. Obama is going to nominate someone (who we know will be a leftist hack), probably young, so the damage will be incalculable throughout decades.
We must not let this happen. I realize the primaries are still going on, but we need to put that aside, at least temporarily, and focus on stopping Obama’s opportunism.
He will most likely nominate someone on Tuesday, and claim it’s an “extended recess appointment”, and in so saying a Senate confirmation will not be required. This is the nightmare scenario but he has proven, time and time again, to do the most radical, un-Constitutional things in support of his leftist agenda. We know this; so it’s not unreasonable at all to believe he will do so here.
We must therefore be prepared for this eventuality and harass the Senate with a blitzkrieg of e-mails and phone calls. We can’t let this happen, we just can’t. This is bigger than the election right now. This is bigger than “our” candidate (whomever that might be, either Trump or Cruz).
We must focus or the election is meaningless, whomever wins the nomination. Obama is going to use every tactic to get his nomination through. He’s been salivating at the chance to finally tilt the court, and now he has the opportunity. There is no time for Cruz/Trump fights. It’s time to focus on defending what we can, now, or the election is meaningless.
Be prepared to start harassing your Senators! Stop Obama!
