TED CRUZ IS IN THE U.S. SENATE ILLEGALLY?
North American Law Center ^ | JB Williams

Posted on 02/15/2016 3:09:42 PM PST by dlt

Article claims that Cruz' citizenship papers are under seal, and he may not even be able to sit as a Senator.

The fact is that someone, at some point, is going to make Cruz' place of birth an issue, and this is far more meatier than the Obama birther issue.

I read an article he wrote...thought it was quite interesting.

I would think we’ve learned our lesson after Obama. I think Ted should stick with being a lawyer, which apparently he is good at...better at that then dealing with people.

Cruz supporters don't care. He probably figures that if his supporters don't have enough self-respect and integrity to wish that basic issues like this be sorted out, why should he.

Notice how the FR Cruzers don't present an argument or facts related to anything about Cruz---they just call it "bs" and ignore it (after hateful name-calling)

They don't read, research, investigate, try to get an informed opinion---they just call anything that could possibly reflect badly on Cruz, "bs".

doesn’t matter. We’re supposed to drop support of Cruz because of a possible lawsuit.

see, republicans have no b...s and fold like a piece of paper

hillary is about to possibly be indicted and the other side doesn’t care.

I’ll vote for Ted. Let the courts do what they have to.

i’m surprised so many on a conservative website are shaking over lawyers and courtrooms.

aaa www maybe we need to know if his mother gave up her American Citizenship when she was in Canada, or was Cruz’s Mother and Father married while in Canada? Why did the Father leave a young child and mother in Canada and come back to America? And why did it take the Father so long to become an American Citizen?

Has his Mother ever re established her American Citizenship, if she renounced it? Where are the timelines of this family?

Cruz/s big problem is his Canadian citizenry. So sit back, relax, and enjoy Cruz/s Slippery Shuffle....as he twitches and turns to escape from this one.

<><> If Cruz/s parents declared US citizenship for him in Canada, then he has a Canadian-issued document called a Consular Report of Birth Abroad.....the legal equivalent of a US Birth Certificate.

<><> Cruz either has one from the time of his Canadian birth or he does not. If he does not, then he is NOT a US Citizen.... (he was never naturalized by his own admission).

More importantly, Canada at the time of Cruz/s birth did not recognize dual nationality. So it appears Harvard-educated Cruz schemed to dupe Texas voters by the charade of renouncing his Canadian citizenship that never was when the Dallas Morning News exposed him.

Cruz either has the Canadian-issued Consular Report of Birth Abroad, which is his legal proof of US Citizenship, or he doesn't. Would appear his parents never applied for it....making Cruz a bonafide Canadian.

Significantly, Canada prohibited dual nationality at the time of Cruz/s birth. If Cruz can/t produce a Consular Report of Birth Abroad, there's a little problem with the US Senate office Cruz holds now (and was elected to under false pretenses) .......not to mention his doomed aspirations to be US President.

==========================================

The Dems have access to the CRBA thru State archives and you can rest assured they know the truth and have set a trap.

That is why Cruz supposedly sealed his US birth documents. They don/t exist.

Cruz is putting us thru this fiasco for his personal career advancement. Nothing more. If he really cared about us, or this country, he would have settled this years ago.

======================================

He/s lining his pockets with campaign contributions, borrowing campaign money from Goldman Sachs, knowing he is not qualified? What does that say about his character and integrity?

AT CTH an article was linked in the comments to that article included a woman who claimed to have been a neighbor of Cruz’s mother. She gave her name. She said she went with Cruz’s mother when she renounced her US citizenship.

This could blast Lyin Ted Millhouse out of the water

And if his parents never applied for one? He’s still a citizen by birth.

Up front, I am a Trump supporter. But as a Texas Senator, as was for Ted Cruz. He was assured of this vote only due to the fact Sarah chose him to be a carrier of the torch. He continued to receive this support, knowing the man had little chance of becoming POTUS. Fine, we in Texas felt he was working for the state. When Trump entered, it was felt that he and Ted might make a team to once again make our country safe and strong. Only as a team would our country be given an opportunity to survive. Since that time, there have been countless disclosures about this man which has done nothing but raise questions and doubt. If this happened here, how has it affected others of the same mind set? All that we ask is he put aside his politics and tell us the truth. Answer the many questions truthfully. When you have been called a liar by one, it is perhaps easier to slide. More than one...there seems to be a pattern forming.

“What citizenship papers? Do you have citizenship papers?”

I have a birth certificate that says I was born in a state in the U.S.

The citizenship papers discussed in this article refers to a Consular Report of a Foreign Abroad, that grants to Cruz citizenship.

His mother had only lived in Canada for three years when Ted was born. She would have had to live there five years before she could become a Canadian citizen. So it is irrelevant whether she became a Canadian citizen or not since it was impossible for her to be one when Ted was born.

The only thing that counts is what the United States thinks. The government of Canada has nothing to do with how we select our President. Cruz is a natural born citizen by the fact that her mother was a citizen of the United States. The chances that something else is true ranks up there with the likelihood that space alien bodies were discovered at Roswell, NM.

A History Channel producer will be contacting you soon.
