Remember when Barack Obama promised the world in 2008, only to leave some enthusiasts bereft after he failed to close Guantanamo, much less slow the rise of the oceans?
If we elect a President Donald Trump, you ain't seen nothing yet when it comes to disillusionment.
Imagine the fury among his supporters when their outsized hero is exposed as a huckster who cashes the check as soon as the car is off the lot.
The brash billionaire has sold I-can-fix-it-just-you-watch pledges to millions of voters enraged about a steady stream of hollow political promises. To them, Trump towers as the man who means what he says and who will finally, after a long line of empty suits, deliver.
Fully 43% of Republican voters see him as the candidate most likely to get things done in Washington -- more than double the number who have confidence in his next closest rival.....

nailed it!
Exactly!
I believe you’re just burying YOURSELF deeper and deeper with these pointless posts.
HAH!!!
I find it mildly amusing that someone who has never met me knows what I "understand"...that someone can also make categorical statements about an entire group of people whom they've never met.
That's nonsense, of course...but you argue that the fact your notion falls on deaf ears is somehow a reflection on us. I'd say it shows the opposite.
What if Mr. Trump got “nothing done” and just followed the Constitution after he swore to uphold it?
(Would he be a failure for having gotten “nothing done”?)
Just asking.
IMHO
Trump’s greatest achievement will be enforcing existing law. The popularity gained by enforcing the laws and the resulting end to politically correct claptrap born at the alter if diversity can be accomplished with no real input from the congress
“There are truths that you have to grow into.”
H. G. Wells wrote the quote a century ago. I have to agree, I’ve sat for twenty years in some stage of disillusionment. It was disillusionment with GW Bush, the senate game of almost bringing up impeachment with Bill Clinton then dropping it like a hot rock, lots of disillusionment over the falseness of conservative opportunities that came and went, fake Republican senator disillusionment, and amusing fraudulent Fox News disillusionment as the big cherry.
Like you...I’m finished with the fake Republican Party....hire some business guy to run America and just get used to the fact that you need a manager and CEO....rather than some fake guy with a fake agenda and fake resume....who pretends that he can act his way through the presidency.
I predict a lot of butt hurt coming your way tomorrow night. Stay optimistic. LOL!
DN is pure garbage. A paper for miscreants, welfare takers and public union workers.
We’ll use “common sense gun laws” as a template.
If it were worth any less, Zuck would have to pay someone to take it.
You apparently missed the many posts where I stated that I support Cruz because he is the only Constitutional Conservative running, that he is principled, and has honored his commitment to the Texas people by fighting the Uniparty in the Senate.
What does that mean?
As with many things in life, you can be sure it's worth what you paid for it.
BOL!
Why is the phrase a favorite of Trump supporters?
I also look forward to your posts- keep up the good work!
Its just so descriptive of the sore cruzerman reaction to Trump’s inevitable win. :-)
Yes, apparently I missed it among your pages and pages of “hate Trump “ comments.
