The Republican Party’s battered anti-Trump forces licked their wounds on Wednesday as they set about an increasingly improbable task: Stopping Donald Trump from wrapping up the GOP nomination.
Trump, whose haul so far of 316 delegates gives him nearly as many as the rest of the Republican field combined, planned an uncharacteristically low-key day on Wednesday after scorching through Super Tuesday with seven wins. He didn’t call into a single morning show, nor did he have any public events on the calendar.
But his rivals and the growing legion of Trump spoilers loudly warned on Wednesday about the need to stop the man they contend will not only hand the White House to Hillary Clinton but also destroy the Republican Party.
Marco Rubio, who on Tuesday won his first and so far only state, appeared to take solace in the fact that Trump has not yet sewn up the nomination and did not receive a majority of the vote in any of the dozen states on Super Tuesday.

Cruz is the establishment. Cruz has been at the top level of the GOPe since at least 1999, his wife for nearly as long. I wish people would actually read Ted and wifey’s resumes.

Don’t doubt that the GOPe / RINO / Uniparty would be in just such a fit if the actual conservative Cruz were in the catbird’s seat.

I’m finding that out and just before we vote in FL too.
He was supposed to be a man of conviction who stood alone against the establishment, how wrong was I when I saw him on that stage with Rubio and getting cozy with the establishment,.
Seems just another elected official .
I hope the RNC is ordering a bunch of fresh, dry panties.

I turned to the wife last night and said that you would know that the GOPe was in panic mode when they came to the realization that the only candidate that even had a chance of stopping Trump was Cruz and they would have to support [gasp] a conservative.
Not five min later did Graham come on saying that exact thing.
He's part of the problem.

I don’t see any change pre- post- ST.
It’s an interesting moment in your life when you realize you are smarter and more articulate than most anyone in the media.
Trump underperformed. He got only 40% of the vote and picked up only a net 25 delegates. At this rate nobody will have 50%+1 delegates when the convention starts.
I’m no longer going to click on any page or watch any television that has the constant drum beat of anti-Trump. Hit them in the wallet. Hard.
Shareholders will have something to say about it.
I refuse to watch any more debates. I’m done. I know my candidate and I’m not changing it.

BS What’s been growing is the number of Trump supporters and the wails of desperation from the Trump spoilers.
He worked for a big firm in Houston for four years or so. Other than that, all gubmint.
Unreal! Hillary’s people and the Press say they can beat Trump, yet they are going through all this with the GOPe to get him out of the race? “You see, you see, your stupid minds, stupid stupid”.
