Europe hates Trump. Does it matter?
BBC News ^ | March 4, 2016 | by Katty Kay, Presenter, BBC World News

Invoking global opinion in the context of US elections is a fool's errand. Perfectly understandably, voters in Paris, Pennsylvania, really don't give a damn what voters in Paris, France, think about their political choices. And why should they?

This is America's choice, not anyone else's.

This time, however, the international reaction to Donald Trump is so forceful and so unanimous in its condemnation that it is worth drawing attention to.

Here's a sample of the public disapproval. Germany's Der Spiegel has called Trump the most dangerous man in the world. Britain's David Cameron says his plan to ban Muslims is divisive and unhelpful.

The French liberal newspaper Liberation has described him as a nightmare turned reality. JK Rowling tweeted that he's worse than Voldemort. A recent Economist cover has a picture of Trump dressed as Uncle Sam with just one word, "Really?" That pretty much sums up the mood of global elites.

The dying bleats of a dead society carry no import.

ALL of the people who hate Trump have also hated me for my views and really don’t like the U.S. in general. I don’t see a problem here. Just wondering if Trump is genuine.

If anything, Europe hating Trump will make him more popular.

Even in Europe.

European leaders are hated by their own people because they have been cowed by Islam and let them take over their countries.

It’s a plus Europe is now America’s enemy.

Sane thing they did to Reagan. I was there. All the time. Just an actor, not qualified, WW3, Dunce. etc.

My point. They did this because misery loves company. That’s why they hate Trump. They fear he will turn it all around for the US.

The full throated character assassination campaign, along with the political correctness that much of Europe ascribes to and promotes, put him at a disadvantage.

During the last of my 8 years (7 overseas), I lived in Germany with my wife and son and got sent the last 364 days to England. I gave up in mid 1976 and went home to Carter.

I was never so proud to personally vote at my home polling station as I did for Ronald Reagan in 1980.

Europe hates Trump

He may be a loud-mouthed, bully, moderate, chameleon, but he's our loud-mouthed, bully, moderate, chameleon.

Piss off, Europe.

Now that Europe has become the Middle East II, I can understand why they have a liberal “man crush” thing going with Obammie and hate Trump.

Yup. Oh to have a man like Vaclav Havel alive today. My bet is he would think differently.

I think they misrepresent the views of the ordinary people. In the UK Nigel Farage, the UKIP leader, said he would make a very good President. and from the comments sections in British news papers there is substantial support for Donald Trump.

NIGEL Farage has backed Donald Trump for the White House saying he would make a "great US President"

The Eurotrash will soon have to submit to their Mohammaden masters. Their opinions are worthless.
