That’s going to be the real question, whether Rubio hits 20% or whether Trump and Cruz split the delegates.

Rubio at 18.3% right now.

The other night when Trump said: “Cruz won Maine because it’s close to Canada”, I fell out of my chair laughing.

He stole that line from me...right here on FR.

The thing he does have going for him is he is NOT a career politician and a true outsider at this point

Well.....that might mean something if we were talking about someone who understands politics, but he does not think politically nor does he have any recognized ideology or core to guide him, other than what he has developed in business.

That makes him a huge risk in my opinion. To try to decipher what he is at his core, I have to look at Queens NYC and his history which most Trump fans have ignored.

This vote will likely be my last vote in a contested presidential race. It's doubly important to me that I get it right and not react to the last 8 years, except to say it cannot be repeated.

I have cast my primary vote and if there is no conservative to vote for in the general, well.....they won't miss me and I'll likely not be back (for a plethora of reasons but health and age may have it's say)

I can say that I voted for Reagan twice and miss him a great deal still today. he literally saved my life. (long story but I'm a vet)

In any case, I don't think that we can continue much longer as a Republic. neither cruz nor trump could save her from herself. She is going to burn as soon as the government checks stop and no one can keep that from happening.

The Rubio victory speeches are especially interesting. I wonder if he is even fooling himself, and then I remember how “bright” the public is, and realize that NO speech is so stupid that it persuades nobody!

I just hope that Trump can keep it close to Cruz in Idaho. Of course a win would be nice.

You don’t need a passport, but you DO need a State Dept issued card that allows travel from US to Canada and back. A passport is @ $100, the Canada/Mexico card is @ $30. Used to be all you needed was a driver’s license!

Correcto mundo! Cruz is waiting for Idaho results so he can begin his speech with “Glory be to God”!

Trump closing the gap in Idaho. Check out Ada County. That's where Boise is. Only 3% of vote in but Trump up by 36-29% margin. If that ratio holds, Trump has a chance to take it statewide. But worst case scenario appears to be a narrow loss to Cruz which will result in a more or less even split in delegates. I can live with that. I'm also rooting for Cruz to beat out Kasich for number 2 in MI.

Looks like a horrible, horrible night for the GOPe.

BTW, Private Idaho by B-52s...awesome song from the early 1980s.

Looks like more than a 140,000 Michiganers had better sense than you.

That's one way to look at it. Another way to view it is that ONCE AGAIN the large MAJORITY of voters in a state REJECT Donald Trump but are split among several candidates.

FYI to all, in Michigan Clinton spent a fortune on ads, just from my observations, she had ads 20-1 against all the other candidates combined. If she does lose Michigan, she will have to put some ice on it.

Excellent!

Being on the Mainland and seeing its a caucus, I had no idea what was going on — it’s awesome that there was a big Trump turnout — thanks, Friend!!
