At this time, the most important issue is - if Cruz is the nominee, will Hillary and her RATS try mightily to disqualify Cruz? You bet! Forget about what we think natural born citizen is. Think what the democRATS’ definition of nbc will be when it comes to Cruz who is not 1 of them. They will disqualify Cruz with the help of the corrupt courts/judges, the media, the big donors..., just as they had covered up Obama’s ineligibility for Obama.

You educated, high-info and engaged Cruz supporters, please engage yourself in thinking carefully about this issue. The cowardly GOPe will NOT help Cruz. We the people have no voice.....Once again we will be at their mercy! WHY give them the best weapon (a constitutionally ineligible 'nominee') to defeat us again, when we have a real chance to nominate a constitutionally eligible person with proven ability and skill to defeat them?

At this time, Ted Cruz might or might not be the nominee. Why deliver the opponents a bomb to destroy us with?

Don’t you know that even bringing up that question is a “low blow” to St. Ted? Why you can’t ask if the Democrats would use and obvious gift issue against Cruz because doing so marks you as crazy and uninformed.
Watch all the civics lessons you’ll get about “standing” and tortured legal “logic” as if they apply when Democrats are stealing an election.
BOHCA!

Yes, absolutely they will. Is it not true that every office Obama ran for prior to POTUS he had his opponents disqualified or quit? He did it through the courts in getting sealed records opened so he could embarrass them into quitting.

Now he stands at the point of creating a Constitutional crisis by not only having the Republican nominee, if Cruz or Rubio, disqualified, but also letting the FBI dogs loose and have Lynch indict Hillary as well. By taking out the two nominees, he declares the crisis by which he enacts Martial Law and he doesn’t have to give up the airplane.

I think they would be delighted to have a suit pending while he is the candidate, and should he be elected, to be dragging on casting doubt over the validity of his Presidency.

As far as comments that Dems would prefer Trump because he'd be easier to beat, maybe that is true, but it might also be wishful thinking. The Dems might be believing their own and MSM-linked line that Trump is widely perceived as a hopeless idiot and buffoon, and that Hillary will mop the floor with him in the campaign. That doesn't mean it is true--we've seen how out of touch the establishment pols are in both parties.

I think the Dems will let him run, and even if he was to win, they would not push all too hard to prove he is not qualified and then removed. I believe they want to allow him to set precedence so they have no trouble with future candidates of their own.

It’s a game of incrementalism(is that a word?)and besides, there is not enough time to drag the issue though courts and arrive at a conclusion.

I like Cruz, but the cloud of uncertainty over his eligibility is unsettling.

It would only take one friendly judge to question Cruz's eligibility. It would never make it through the courts before November. What would the 'pubs do? Get Cruz to step down, and choose someone else who is on the Bush team?

We really don't know. But that possibility should be enough to say "no" to Ted. Spend four or eight years to get the issue resolved once and for all.

If it isn't revolved, as it should've been after Obama's first election (at the latest) we've given up rule by the Constitution. Who knows how far eligibility will be stretched or if there will be any rules at all?

To all you Cruz supporters: I think my articulation and thought process are quite good here. That must confuse your sensibilities.

It’s kind of a moot point at this juncture. If current trends hold, neither the dems nor anyone else need to concern themselves with Cruz winning the nomination. Sufficient numbers of GOP voters are making the strong statement they’d rather drive the Trump Train all the way into the river in November.

Just the same “tired” lies you trot out week after week....

Do you not read your own posts? Maybe you should start....

However, to save you the effort, today’s lie is that the Dem’s want to run against Trump......

They want to run against Kaisich, Rubio, Cristie et al...

But neither Cruz nor Trump....

1. Hillary will not be the Democrat nominee coming out of the convention. She lost the FBI primary. Around the middle of May her world will start unwinding fast as the corruption is exposed.

2. Trump is still the man to beat. It looks like Florida is his to lose. Not sure about Ohio. At some point he will be inevitable.
