Conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly endorses Trump; tells crowd no more losers

It is going to be tough for Donald Trump‘s detractors to argue that he isn’t a conservative now.

Conservative author, activist and icon Phyllis Schlafly today in St. Louis gave her endorsement to Trump for president.

“I asked him to stand by the Republican platform because we have the best conservative platform we’ve ever had and he endorses it. He will stand by it. He is a real conservative and I ask you to support him,” she said to a raucous ovation.

“I’m confident that Donald Trump will appoint judges like (Antonin) Scalia,” she added.

Schlafly said that “we’ve been following the losers for so long,” but that would change with Trump.

“Now we’ve got a guy who’s gonna lead us to victory!” she said.

The endorsement came on the same day Dr. Ben Carson gave his support to the Republican presidential front-runner who, at this point, looks unstoppable.

Watch her speech below.

In the Constitution’s own estimation it is

WE THE PEOPLE

Which is not

WE THE FREEPIANS

I don’t know how much CLEARER I can make it

I will second the nomination. #2 needs to happen or else everything is off the table.

Chris Farley?

I'm pretty sure he was too stoned to be political, let alone "a dead extreme left-wing liberal" if those words have any meaning at all.

His brother's a Republican (or was a few years back).

The blood of patriots and the yearning for and love of liberty constitute two cornerstones of that firm foundation.

“It is going to be tough for Donald Trump‘s detractors to argue that he isn’t a conservative now.”

That’s just a smokescreen attempt to cover their fear of any actual change.

Well, I’m no youngster, I’ve been around here longer than you, noobie. 8^)

But the answer to your question is Trump.

Maybe Trump’s not a conservative.

But then, neither is anyone else in the race.

The incumbent GOPe rolled their bellies to the ‘rats on the budget last year; even the ‘rats were surprised how easily they gave up.

I voted for Trump in the primary; baring a “Black Swan” on his part, I’ll be voting for him in November.

If he’s not on the ballot, I’ll be either voting third-party or write-in.

Well old timer, I’m a noobie and I think it’s fantastic that genuine conservatives are endorsing our next president, Trump! ;-)

And so you think that when more than half the population is Socialists/Marxists, because the Constitution ‘rests’ on “We The People” that the restraints placed on government by that same Constitution are going to continue to exist???

If you do, you are delusional.

Half the population is fine with Socialism. More than half want a king or dictator to impose their agenda.

A Constitution like the one we had, cannot exist among such a people.

If the Constitution’s ‘foundation’ ‘rests’ on the current population - then there IS NO FOUNDATION except the whims of where the wind blows and whomever stokes it.

Only a moral and religious people were capable of maintaining a Constitutional Republic.

We are no longer those people. So we lost it. And no, it’s never coming back. No matter whom you vote for or crown to be your king.

Hey, noobie! 8^)

I ran across this today, Cruz back in January trying to fool folks in to believing Phyllis Schlafly and Eagle Forum endorsed him! What a sleazebag.

I believe sleazebag is the right word for him dropping her name and implying he had her endorsement or even support.

I was a Cruz supporter going into this but the more things that have happened the more I turned to Trump, though I’ll vote for Cruz in the general against any Rat.

When have politicians ever done one good thing for America? Never but always the opposite. It's always more government, more taxes, more immigrants, more illegals, more agencies, more regulations, more factories offshored etc. all things that hurt America not help.

Phyllis Schlafly, Jeff Sessions, Sarah Palin, and Ben Carson are all closet liberals. A Cruz supporter told me so.

Actually, my first time on this thing was 1998. I quit and returned later. Got kinda sick and tired of all of it for a time.

First man I ever voted for POTUS was Mr Goldwater.

Schlafly is old enough to know what REAL men are like. Trump is one of them.
