Mark this day....when the GOPe candidate sided with the leftist thugs.

Look who Donald Trump has sided with...

Hillary ( even said last night in speech she is doing her best..(???)if president I bet he will pardon her!)

Planned Parenthood..

Obama

George Soros

You talk about leftist thugs? and agreeing with them? Hardly... don't take what Ted Cruz said out of context!!!!

Cruz proved he is a Sea Island fraud, blaming Trump instead of Sanders who had people there with BLM Moveon and Illegal aliens carrying Mexican flags. He disqualified himself already by not disavowing Glenn Beck for threatening to “keep stabbing Trump.”

There are reports that protestors were using hammers and bats in the parking garage-on cars, and on people.

*****************

H. R. 347 makes protest of any type potentially a federal offense with anywhere from a year to 10 years in federal prison, providing it occurs in the presence of elites brandishing Secret Service protection, or during an officially defined ‘National Special Security Event’ (NSSE). NSSEs , are events which have been deemed worthy of Secret Service protection, which previously received no such treatment. Justified through part of ‘Presidential Decision Directive 62 in 1998; Bill Clinton created an additional class of special events explicitly under the authority of the U.S. Secret Service.

That was one old ass man. He can say anything he wants. He was arrested and charged.

One old man doesn't worry me. What worries me is the dozens of Trump supporters on this forum, in addition to dozens if not hundreds more on other site, that were cheering for him and agreeing with him both for punching the guy AND for what he said about killing him.

That event does not translate into “let’s shut down Trump’s rally’?

I don't support them shutting down the rally, and I don't support the threat of violence on either side. All I am saying is that the statements by Trump and his supporters contribute to the violent atmosphere, IMHO. Protesters interrupt the rally, have them arrested and escorted out. But don't threaten to beat them up and don't cheer some guy who does.

He commented on tone in general and said a lot of people are responsible.

He did say that along with all his other damning criticism and shameless self promotion.

I think all Cruz was saying was that if you create an environment that your supporters feel it is OK to commit violent acts, like the guy who cold cocked that BLM protester, then you share some of the responsibility.

Trump never told any supporter to hurt a protestor. You're parroting the left-liberal establishment meme that Trump bears some responsibility for people becoming violent at his rallies, simply because he's un-pc, and talks like millions of average Americans.

The correct response from Cruz should have been something having to do with the right of free speech and free assembly. He could have used this moment to show presidential-quality leadership, but he instead used it to draw blood on Trump. Very weak, and full of failure.

You called me names first with your all inclusive assumptions.

Here is the thing. I have been jokingly threatened by a Trump supporter on FR. I did not take it seriously, but when you have to use threats of violence to counter an argument, then you have lost the argument. I have included my comment and the response below.

When Trump followers take that oath to blindly follow Trump, does that include sucker punching non-followers?

Yes.
So watch yer ass, twinkles.

Desperate candidates say desperate things. He had a chance to rise above it. Instead he went into the gutter hoping to gain cheap political points. Not a smart comment Mr. Cruz.

If Cruz is eligible born in Canada, then Obama is eligible born in Kenya.

I know Mr. Spock died, but LOGIC dictates strange outcomes.

you, like the MSM, took everything out of context.

Funny how Cruz is now backing the MSM, GOPe, and democrats. Kinda shows who he really is. And many here are just fine with it
