PRINCETON, N.J. -- Presidential candidate Donald Trump has a major image problem among U.S. Hispanics, with 77% saying they view him unfavorably and just 12% viewing him favorably. This gives Trump by far the most negative image among Hispanics of any of the four Republican candidates. He also has a much more negative image among Hispanics than the two Democratic candidates.
This latest update is based on Gallup Daily tracking data collected Jan. 2-March 8. When Gallup started tracking the candidates in July and August of 2015, Trump was not quite as well-known as he is now. However, his image was already very negative, with 66% of Hispanics viewing him unfavorably and 14% favorably. As he has become better known among Hispanics, his image has worsened.
The major factor most likely contributing to Trump's image deficit among Hispanics is one of the first highly publicized controversies of his presidential campaign in June, when he called for building a giant wall along the Mexican border. He also characterized Mexicans coming into the U.S. as drug traffickers and rapists. Since then, Trump's strong and controversial stances against other immigrant groups may have reinforced ill will among Hispanics, the majority of whom immigrated to this country within the last several generations.
Trump is well-known among Hispanics. At this point, 89% are familiar enough with the billionaire businessman to have an opinion about him, substantially higher than Hispanics' familiarity with Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz (58% and 56% familiarity, respectively) and much higher than Hispanics' low familiarity with John Kasich (29%). In fact, Hispanics are now slightly more familiar with Trump than with Hillary Clinton.

“The Hispanics have a 90% unfavorable rating among Anglo-Americans. The time for expulsion is fast approaching.”
You may be confusing some of us. The MSM has applied the term “immigrants” so often to illegal aliens that even putting scare marks around Hispanics doesn’t work.
And I disagree with you insofar that the time isn’t “approaching” to expel them ... it’s long overdue.
Do you mean, as I understood you to say, that it’s time to toss illegal squatters from south of our border, those who ignored our immigration law, not families that have been here for a century or two, some even with ancestors who were inside the Alamo before the first shot was fired?
If you are saying all hispanics you’re dead wrong/
Have to admit, you’ve got me there. Comparison between Trump and them is pretty spot on, also. Good job.
Trump has 12% favorable, 77% unfavorable image among Hispanics

the article is small, and telling.
Romney was liked better and only got 27 percent.
soros is bankrolling the Hispanic rollout bigtime
Americans of Hispanic ancestry-like me-despise illegals so much that we call them by the non-PC pejorative term “mojado”-it is only those mojados who have managed to stay here after coming illegally-usually by finding some fool to marry them-or by overstaying a work or student visa-who want illegals here, along with their enablers-those who want cheap labor at the expense of everyone else-I work in construction-none of us on my crew will work on a site with mojados, ever-even if it means we lose a bid...
I’ve never met a legal immigrant from any country who wanted to let a lawbreaker stay here, since they have come through the legal process which can take years...
BTW, I'm a Cruz supporter who will vote for Trump in November.
How do you say, "tough titty" in Spanish?
Yeah sure and Obama has a 51% favorable rating.
the poll considers all hispanics equal be they legal or illegal
the results are thus skewed and meaningless
However if they polled Cruz and Rubio, both hispanics, they would get 100 % negative results today.
neither of the hispanic candidates is doing well enough with their brethren to make a meaningful difference
So glad that trump supporters are all telepathic and know with out doubt that any poll or statement maid that is not 100% pro trump is made my liars shills and illegal alias.
Of course paranoia does that too.
He doesn’t do well with illegal aliens.
WHO CARES LET THEM GO BACK TO MEXICO
Joe Dan puts the lie to the lies being told about Trump and makes points I’ve been trying to hammer home on our little radio gig since Trump announced!
Key among those points is that is UTTER MADNESS to send another batch of lawyers/politicians (but I repeat myself) to solve the massive mess created by PREVIOUS batches of lawyers/politicians! WE NEED AN HONEST-TO-GOD CEO! It’s WHY it’s called the EXECUTIVE BRANCH!

Another positive indicator of why Trump is the best choice for America and un-hyphenated Americans.

I live in the SW. Lots of Hispanics in the SW. Hispanics tend to be prejudiced (racist) anyway. There is no way an Hispanic is going to prefer a white man over their own, no matter how vile their own may be.
BTW, did anybody besides me notice that since Obama has opened relations with Cuba, that we have not one, but TWO Cubans running for president?
Could they have successfully run if those doors hadn’t have been opened?
It may be entirely coincidental, but the thought just happened to hit me last night.
Neither of our Hispanic candidates are South American Spanish, Puerto Rican Spanish, or Mexican Spanish. Only Cuban Spanish.
It used to be in times past, that only white men ran for president. This year we have/had White Men, White Women, Spanish Men, Black Men, Jewish men. No Black Women, no Hispanic Women, no orientals of either sex..only the major publicly acceptable races and genders of those races.
Sometimes those little things mean nothing, and sometimes they mean everything.

Hispanics don’t matter
Yes, I had that very thought a couple of days ago.
unfortunately there are so many liberal judges out there that it would not surprise me one bit that they will be granted voting status !
