Considering SCOTUS doesn’t understand STATE EXCHANGES means States exchanges, nor that ‘shall not be infringed’ means exactly that; I don’t recall any ruling that ‘and subject to the jurisdiction thereof’ meant anything but the simple English of the 14th.
Ergo, bloviating that ‘anchor babies’ are a real thing != true.

Will cost next to nothing. Cut off their pubic benefits, medical care, education, and employment and offer free exit transportation. End of problem.
Furthermore, what does it cost to have them in the country?
We as a nation are fast approaching a time when these criminals will not be dealt with by law enforcement.

4. Mexico responds by increasing taxes
5. With the Trump wall in place, lucrative trans Mexico illegal immigrant path is stopped
6. Many south American and "third worlders" stuck in Mexico
7. Crime rate goes up again
8. Lucrative drug trade from Mexico stopped
9. Drug gang wars intensify in Mexico
10 Crime rate goes up again
11. Tourism to Mexico stops dead (no pun intended)
12. Companies like Ford, Nabisco, Carrier and also some Mexican companies start RELOCATING to North America.
13. Trump wins second term in a landslide.
McCain, like all too many long resident Republicans inside the beltway, is a CINO - Conservative In Name Only.
Every time I see a picture of one of those people or hear them speak I think CINO and go do something else more enjoyable. Having a tooth extracted with the use of pain killers comes immediately to mind.

There is an additional, hidden price, associated with every immigrant, particularly the illegal ones. It is the money that they remove from our economy and ship home to their relatives.
Economies are based on money circulation. Every dollar sent overseas supports some other economy and not ours. It makes no difference if the dollars are “lost” due to foreign aid or personal transfers -they aren’t circulating inside the US and helping our economy.
That would be cheaper than keeping them. Just get them out of America.

I have an idea. Put arrested illegal immigrants on a chain gang to build the wall. Lots of them are skilled in the building trades from years of work in the US.
That would reduce the labor costs for the wall to bed and board—and might be instructive to anyone thinking about entering the US illegally.
