Cruz knocks Trump over Palestine
The Hill ^ | March 21, 2016 | Ben Kamisar

Sen. Ted Cruz landed an immediate blow on GOP presidential rival Donald Trump, who spoke before him Monday at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) conference, for how the front-runner referred to the Palestinian people.

"Let me say at the outset, perhaps to the surprise of the previous speaker, Palestine has not existed since 1948," Cruz said to lead off his speech in Washington.

Trump repeatedly referred to the Palestinian people as "Palestine" during his remarks just minutes before Cruz. Neither the United States nor Israel recognizes Palestine as a country...

“there is the appeal to the flinty speech by cruz and it was a great speech. but i always will look at him like he’s a lawyer.”

Better a lawyer than a liar.

Trump has proven time and again that he simply can’t be trusted.

He’s desperate if that’s all he’s got - reminds me of how Chuckles Biden went through a whole debate laughing and mocking because he had nothing else....

Are you saying he’s a Cuban Jew from Canada? The AIPAC crowd probably went for him in a big way then. With all his “schtick,” I’m kinda surprised he didn’t wear a yamulke today!

Not a Cuban Jew; not sure what he is now: Pentecostal, Baptist, Mormon, or just a politician trying to become President at any cost since his followers anointed him and think he is the fulfillment of cultic prophecy. I used to be for Cruz; some Jews told me he that they thought it was a calculated ploy when he threatened to walkout of that Middle East conference of Christians and I tried to convince them otherwise. Now, I don't know what he really believes ...

Its pretty easy for Cruz to prevent Trump from getting to 1237

Its not that unlikely that Cruz could finish ahead of Trump in the delegate count.

In any event of Trump getting less than 1237, on the second ballot, all bets are off and many delegates are likely to favor Cruz over Trump.

There was never a great need for Trump and his supporters to be as nasty and personal as they have been toward Ted Cruz. I genuinely hope it hurts them in the end.

And the only group that lies more than lawyers? Salesmen.

That’s got to be Trump’s excuse. Either that or he just thinks you’ll fall for anything.

Fwiw, I mentioned earlier about Trump's warts just being more visible than others. You mention his infidelity and books concerning sex with women. And you honorably mention that you (presumably unlike Trump) have not cheated on your wife.

One of my theories on the hatred of Trump is that he makes people see the ugly sides of themselves (myself included) and they don't like it and take it out on him.

Take the adultery for example. Do you respect God's word? God defined adultery simply as lust for any woman other than your wife. Murder as simply hate in your heart. So I ask you, according to God, have you committed adultery or killed another? I know I am guilty on both counts.

When Trump called Fiorina ugly, I berated him to anyone who would listen. I was disgusted. Then the next time I saw her, part of me said to myself, “you know, that is not an attractive face”. Was it wise for Trump to say it aloud? No, but it was in a private meeting.

Trump's just a man. Fallen like the rest of us. He just has some strange self assuredness that isn't afraid to show his ugly side in public. Once I stopped judging him and just analyzing his plans, I realized he is the man we need right now.

So are you more concerned about Trump writing about what he did or that he did it? If it’s a case of him writing about it then his behavior isn’t the issue. If it’s his behavior then you probably shouldn’t look too closely at Reagan’s time as a Hollywood bachelor. You’ll prefer to stick with your illusions.

“Now, I don’t know what he really believes ...”

And that is reason enough to take a pass on electing him, at least for now. Let him earn our trust by actually doing something beyond being a $hit disturber in the Senate.

” He lives in an elitist, Leftist NYC bubble. “
*******

It was from that “bubble” that TRUMP is now kicking some major buttinsky, and without the help of the globalist donors, the likewise invested Establishment, and your North American Union, pathway to legalization, HB1 quintupler, TPA enabler, Corker Ammendment loving Raphael Cruzader.

What else has Ted done for you lately that advanced a single damn thing “conservative”?

(Besides the 21 hour pony show, for the rubes, on the floor of the US Senate.)

I take it you are too holy to fight for your country with the best ground defender, preferring instead to honor your clear and present Trojan Horse.

Look around and wake up.

I’ll tell you something else that’s astonishing:

Trump supporters are amazingly forgiving, even explanatory, of their candidate’s foibles considering the standards they use to damn Cruz to RINO/GOPe hell.

You missed the point, again, duck breath.

Reality is that the “State of Palestine” is actually current useage.

Cruz proselytizing to the Ishmael crowd must impress the Becker cult, but can turn off both Israel and Palestine.

Pigs will fly before you guys ever get under the hood, and dig up a single accomplishment of cRUSE that ever advanced anything conservative, except of course for advancing his own ambitious path to run for the presidency, on the backs of the Religious Right rubes, who liked his pony tricks leading to nowheresville.

This explains why you never have any material, and are reduced to vacuous arguments.

If past is prologue, The Ruse couple have no outstanding debt, but for saying they do.

The Cruzader’s Goldman Sachs “loan(s)” appear in one column and disappear in another column, as contributions by Goldman Sachs “individual” Cruz campaign contributions.

It is terribly cute for petty Teddy to show his verbal under shorts with his incessant campaigning, instead of directing his opening remark to the more explicit interests of Israel, in his rather pedestrian speech.

Ted would rail over a dropped cookie crumb if he thought it would please the Becker types.

Cruz is a small, self centered man, an ambitious opportunist, flogging the religious right to prop him up.

Pathetic, really.

Trump is astonishingly ignorant on foreign affairs. He lives in an elitist, Leftist NYC bubble.

Trump knows we need tariffs and sane trade policies and we need a wall and more to stop illegal immigration. Trump has slammed the Iran cave-in repeatedly/ He can work out the other details when he gets elected

Are you a free traitor type? I have my suspicions

Why don’t Trump supporters discuss ISSUES?!?!

Maybe you need to do some research, hun, instead of name calling the way Donald does. Donald Trump doesn’t like to do research either.
