Poll: Trump beats both foes head-to-head

Donald Trump would lead either Ted Cruz or John Kasich in a two-way race, according to the results of a Quinnipiac University national poll released Wednesday. Asked whom they would like to win the GOP nomination, 43 percent of the 652 Republicans surveyed said they wanted Trump to emerge as the party's choice in Cleveland, followed by 29 percent for Cruz and just 16 percent for Kasich, with 9 percent undecided.

Cruz makes up stuff everyday that is not supported by anything concrete. He should be a farmer with all the bull he slings.

I’m a Trump supporter, but in fairness, was the question asked as if it was only a Trump/Kasich and/or Trump/Cruz race? If the question was asked with the three of them, I don’t think that conclusion can be made. I don’t doubt Trump wouldn’t lead a head-to-head w/ Cruz, but it might be closer...maybe.

If the coward Trump had the courage to face Ted one-on-one in a debate, Ted would expose and crush him. Without it, Trump’s billions in free advertising and fraudulent attacks will probably prevail.

Yep, there goes Cruz’ one on one theory.

The more I see of him, the less I like.

He’s every bit the spoiler that he accuses Kasich of being.

Cruz has now embraced the very Cartel he once railed against.

He is working with The Cheap Labor Express to prevent the citizens from electing a President who would stop theillegal alien inundation.

Right.

Cruz “ Donald trump donates to liberal politicians”
Trump “I donated to you”.

Nuff said.

Debating isn’t running anything. Its a skill, and doesn’t translate into being a leader.

Cruz had 11 debates to whack Trump.

Never laid a glove on him.

Cruz didn’t think Trump was such a coward when he was taking Trump’s money.

Who is Cruz-world going to smear next? The smallest Trump? Why not. Cruz won’t condemn it when it happens.

Legislators donate to liberal politicians causes every day thru spending bills with our money. At least Trump buys influence with his own money. You can’t survive in business without paying off your politicians, friend or foe.

If your statement was true, Cruz should have defeated Trump soundly when both him and his cousin Rubio tag teamed Trump in the last debates. Trump still came out victorious. If you can’t win a two vs. Trump, how are you going to win one vs. Trump.

Political debates are won at the ballot box. Trump won.

“In a head-to-head matchup between Trump and Cruz — with Kasich voters re-allocated to their second choices — the Manhattan real-estate mogul earned 46 percent support, compared with 37 percent for Cruz and 12 percent undecided. While the Texas senator drew slim advantages among tea party supporters, white, born-again evangelicals and those describing themselves as very conservative, Trump drew far greater support from voters who described themselves as somewhat conservative, moderate or liberal, as well as among men, women and those 45 years and older.
With Cruz supporters shifting to their second choices, Trump would have a large lead. Fifty-six percent said they would vote for Trump, with just 25 percent opting for Kasich and 13 percent undecided. More than seven-in-10 (71 percent) of tea party supporters said they would vote for Trump over the Ohio governor, along with strong majorities in every demographic and ideological group, including those describing themselves as moderate or liberal.”

Yeah with his total of about 4 minutes air time for the Jeb/Trump rasslin match. Mods did not want Ted talking he is too smart for them. They want the reality tv of Trump acting like Snooki to drive up ratings.

Well it is probably not going to happen, cowardice has nothing to do with it. You are just being silly. But I am not sure that it would be helpful to Cruz anyway. Cruz was a little grating to most people in the beginning. He has now become nearly intolerable to everyone other than his hardened supporters. This cheating in Utah story is going to make the rounds big time and make Ted look like even more of a slimy lyin' political hack and even more intolerable to most people.
