A Cruz has again canceled on New Jersey.
Heidi Cruz, the wife of Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz, had planned to hold a fundraiser in Morris County on Wednesday and attend several campaign events across the state.
But a local Cruz campaign activist announced that she will be postponing her New Jersey appearances.
Scott DeCristofaro, a New Jersey contact for the Cruz campaign, issued a press release Monday announcing the cancelation of a Heidi Cruz rally in Haddon Heights. DeCristofaro said she is also canceling her other New Jersey events and plans to come back to New Jersey after Wisconsin's April 5 primary.
Ted Cruz in December canceled an event in Rahway where he had planned to announce his New Jersey leadership team.
Heidi Cruz has been the subject of recent Twitter attacks by her husband's primary rival Donald Trump, who has blamed Cruz for an anti-Trump super PAC's ad featuring an old, racy photo of his own wife.

Holy moly did you guys see that presser with Ted and Carly tonight? A Daily Mail reporter asked Ted directly if he has been faithful to his wife and Carly jumped in on cue for prevent him from answering and went off on Trump. Cruz just stood there like a chastised little boy. After Carly finished the guy asked Ted again (good for him) and after some stalling Cruz just gave the same generic denial of the NE article.
That was awful for Cruz. He looked guilty, weak, and dishonest.

If this all happened years ago and they separated and repaired their marriage, it will play even worse than we think for Trump. I think that’s what is going on maybe. She stuck with her man, they got through it... that’s their past, this is their now and forever. This is going to get really ugly. My prediction...
