5 Reasons Why the Ted Cruz Sex Scandal Story Won't Go Away
Roll Call ^ | April 1, 2016 | Stephanie Akin

Posted on 04/02/2016 6:34:46 AM PDT by CreviceTool

Despite no proof and lots of denials, the story refuses to die...It’s been a week since the National Enquirer reported that “pervy Ted Cruz” was “caught cheating” with five unnamed women. Cruz and two of the women who have since been identified have vehemently denied the allegations, and no one has presented any evidence. Yet the sordid story has made its mark, even in this sordid campaign season.

I agree with what you are saying. If he makes it to the general (even as an undercard), he needs to squash this now while the media is letting it slide. They will not be so kind in the general as they are democrats first, second, and third. The will throw everything at him including his place of birth. The rats play hardball and the media is fully on board.

Oh Kart don’t go all radical on me. I don’t know what Teddy’s been up to. Maybe something maybe nothing. Time will tell. But I’d bet $100 that if you were faced with the NE accusations you would be out in front of the cameras howling like a stuck pig and threatening to sue and also saying you never cheat on your wife. She would likely be there with you saying you never cheat on her. Why can’t Ted say those things? It looks bad.

Ted’s ‘affairs’ are moot at this point. Frankly Trump should disregard any reaching across the hallway to Sen Ted and just hold his own until Sen Ted produces proof of NBC. THEN they can talk if the both wish to make amends. Seen from one point of view Cruz needs Trump. Trump needs Cruz -if only for different reasons. Ted has come this far IMHO only due to the fact Trump took the hits as the Canadian Kid worked behind the scenes. To attempt to join as a team might not even be possible if the RNC has the final say in who might be the VP nominee. To continue with this dance is of no interest. So Ted sleeps around. That’s between Ted and his wife. With this voter he has far more important strikes against him than which pillow his head hits. Just my 2 cents

Forgive me for adding another "coincidence" to this scandal.  I am Columbo and I do not work for the National Enquirer.

However, I just noticed something rather interesting.

First, people have already speculated that Amanda Carpenter and Cruz may have been sending signals to each other via Twitter regarding the Winston Churchill tattoo they both put on their arms.

However, looking at the Cruz "tough guy" poster again, I noticed that the woman tattooed on Cruz's neck bears a resemblance to Amanda!  Could this be another joke between the two?  A very daring one if it is.

Do my eyes deceive me?  What do you think?

Didn’t Sabo, or whatever that artists name is, design the tough guy cRuz? Are you saying cRuz and AC had input on his design?

I have no idea, Jane.  Even if the original artist put a face tattoo on the neck, a second photoshopper could easily come along and drop in a different tattoo.

And correction to my previous post: I am not Columbo :- )

Cruz cannot get the nomination because he needs 90% of the remaining delegate votes -- nearly impossible. So Cruz is only trying to win the dirty way, through convention tricks. Either that or he's the bought and paid for anti-Trump attacker of the Donor and GOPe class.

An open convention can go three ways, assuming Trump does not win on the first ballot:

1. Trump proves he really is the master of The Art of the Deal and goes over 50% on the second ballot or a later ballot.

2. Trump enters with perhaps 45% of the delegates and Cruz with perhaps 30% of the delegates. Over the course of several rounds, Cruz wins over the Rubio/Kasich delegates as they are freed up from their voting obligations, until Cruz tops 50%.

3. Trump delegates or Trump and Cruz delegates defect at the first opportunity (or in an orchestrated manner over multiple ballots to make it seem natural) and nominate someone the voters specifically rejected, or at least a pro-Amnesty, pro-Obamacare big government liberal who calls himself a republican only when campaigning for office.

I'm more than okay with options 1 and 2; both are legitimate. Cruz is clearly playing for something more or less in the option 2 range. I have less optimism than he has about the loyalty, integrity, and independence of delegates who are no longer bound. Perhaps he knows more than I do (or is intentionally splitting the anti-Trump vote so it doesn't all go to Kasich, which would be a terrible outcome!), or perhaps he's been fooled. I pray it's not the last option.

In any case, I'll be voting Trump because I want a first ballot decision at the convention. That would give America one of the two candidates who has a chance to be a great president.

Who cares what direction the Winston Churchills are facing.

The tattoo on the Cruz with his shirt on was pasted on via a decal.  The one on the poster was drawn or digital inserted by an artist -- and source could be one of a thousand different photos of Churchill.

I am not saying the Churchills are identical.  I'm saying the tattooed woman depicted on the Cruz's neck (in the poster) bears a resemblance to Amanda Carpenter.

Cruz has a tattoo his neck? I saw him with a button down shirt last week. Did he just get it?

Isn’t Monday the day that the DC madam’s phone list gets released?

Well not to throw gas on the fire but the Marshall Report has put up a page from an ATT phone statement supposedly from the DC Madam that purports to show Cruz’s phone number as an incoming call back in Dec 2001. I have no idea if it is or it isn’t.

The story was always that a rumor existed. You can’t sue the NE for reported on a rumor. They never alleged it was true, just that it existed.

That’s why he can’t sue and why he won’t go after him.

I heard a rumor that Malania Trump was a model call girl.

Cruz was smart to not answer it and stick to the issues. If he had answered, the media would have ran with the story Cruz says he never cheated on his wife up to the Wisconsin primary.

Instead of saying that the story is garbage he could have said that he’s never cheated on his wife.

He didn’t.

Cruz can never be a NBC with foreign soil birth and foreign national father. And his current citizenship status is unclear, what with his docs sealed (IIRC his Canadian b.c. has been released but I could be wrong), including his mother’s other than b.c.

Lol - it certainly would be quite a coincidence! That’s funny.

Can you imagine, in your wildest dreams, all of this garbage about Reagan? There has to be something to all of this. Let’s face it, if the left could have done something like this to Bush 43, they would have. I suspect that W was squeaky clean when it came to being a non-pervert. Otherwise, we would have been exposed to a lot of the same stuff. I can’t remember, but I don’t think there was any such nonsense about Reagan, either.

Cruz is slimy. I don’t know how anyone cannot see through him.

Given the pervasiveness of infidelity within our society today, I could not care less if Cruz had a hundred mistresses......Truth be told, I'd probably be envious.

(Ted, send me some phone numbers)

Ok, catfish, you win.  And I will concede that Cruz still has a chance to get the nomination.  Just so long as he keeps that snowball on ice.

That was not a man displaying his smarts, allowing Carly to remove the spotlight from him. That was a man with a plan to take the question away from him because he is guilty as sin. I started out buying into this notion that Cruz was the true conservative, but I started to get very uncomfortable with this guy every time I listened to him.

Ted Cruz, in my opinion, is a slimy, phony narcissist, who feels the presidency belongs to him, and him only. He is a pathological liar and can separate his sleazy behaviour in order to achieve his ambitious goals.
