Top Republicans believe Paul Ryan will be nominee
Washington Post ^ | 4/4/16 | Mike Allen

On the eve of the Wisconsin primaries, top Republicans are becoming increasingly vocal about their long-held belief that Speaker Paul Ryan will wind up as the nominee, perhaps on the fourth ballot at a chaotic Cleveland convention.

One of the nation’s best-wired Republicans, with an enviable prediction record for this cycle, sees a 60 percent chance of a convention deadlock and a 90 percent chance that delegates turn to Ryan — ergo, a 54 percent chance that Ryan, who’ll start the third week of July as chairman of the Republican National Convention, will end it as the nominee.

Cruz is being used to block Trump. He doesn’t understand he’ll NEVER be in their club.

More reason why Trump must quit now and pledge his delegates to Cruz!

A Indicted Hillary Clinton would win 50 States against Ryan

Ryan is a good choice for the role of Designated Loser. He’s been there before and he’ll do it with style.

I don’t think Cruz wants to be in their club. He wants to take the club to them.

Cruz does understand. He’s been promised lots of money probably and appears to be a proxy for Goldman Sachs.

I can’t believe what has been exposed in behavior about Cruz. He’s mental IMO.

For all but a tiny minority when you hear Cruz you know you lose.

“Cruz is being used to block Trump. He doesn’t understand he’ll NEVER be in their club.”

It’s funny that the Cruz haters here truly believe that Cruz is such a moron that he fully believes that the establishment is turning to him as the nominee instead of Trump.

I also love the “a vote for Cruz is a vote for the establishment.”

Doesn’t matter the if Cruz or Trumo is the nominee. Once you wade through all the crap being said, these are still the two best chances for us to take America back.

These “Top Republicans” better watch their backs.

This has been the plan. This is the reason to rally with Trump. Cruz is going nowhere.

As I’ve read many times, this isn’t violating the will of the voters because “those are the rules”.

The 2015 Congress also followed the rules.

I’m pretty dissatisfied with the way the GOPe applies the rules and how little concern they have for voters’ wishes.

Yes, leaders by a large amount should always cede the win to the runner up.
