Ted Cruz’s campaign stop in the Bronx is a complete dud
New York Post ^ | 04/06/2016 | Jennifer Bain and Bob Fredericks

There are more than 1.4 million people in the Bronx — but Ted Cruz couldn’t even muster 100 at a campaign event in Parkchester with state Sen. Ruben Diaz Sr., a conservative Christian minister.

Cruz visited the Sabrosura Chinese-Dominican restaurant, where Diaz said the presidential candidate could “listen to the social, economic and spiritual needs of our community” while dining with other clergymen on the eatery’s famed fried rice and plantains.

How can you say that? Ted is the smartest guy in any room, unless it’s a polling room.

There he can only barely break 1/4th the vote.

LOL

Trump has 61% of the delegates assigned so far.

Ted, a lowly 41%.

Oh well. Ted doesn’t need ‘em. He’ll just steal it at the convention.

Go Ted. To hell with above table politics.

“These Trump people are the most mean-spirited and vindictive people”

Sorry if you were offended, really am, but I thought we were allowed to have some fun here. FWIW, knowing how Jeff Roe operates, this looks to me like a political “in your face” stunt that backfired.

I think it’s because Trump’s heart and reason for getting into this election was us people (us citizens), which he meets at allies and all along the way and he keeps stating his plans to do right for the country.

Cruz in his senate votes and maneuvers has shown he is about his agenda, at times not at all for us people (us citizens) (i.e.: voting to vote on issues, up until recently been for 500% more H visa, etc). Cruz has shown himself to be running this race for his own desire rather than actually a heart for the US people otherwise he’d be doing his freshman duties of showing up at his current work for us people!

Trump could be doing so many other things right now but chose to step aside from his business to run for president because he has seen for decades what a mess politicians have made of USA.

Cruz has missed a lot of his current work for the US people&people of TX showing his heart is not focused on doing his best for the people he already is supposed to be serving.

“Cruz has missed a lot of his current work”

We have the same issue in Florida with Rubio; he most likely won’t win his seat back if he ran again. Maybe the good people of Texas feel the same way.

Why spend any time in an area that elected DeBlasio?

Every CD in NYS elects 3 delegates in the primary.

I don’t understand it. Cruz did so well in WI due to the “local boy” aspect of being from neighboring Canada. Well, NY also borders Canada, so why isn’t he getting the “local boy” treatment in NY ?

It all seems so unfair ! /s

We had a Korean-Cajun joint in a little town where I used to live.

Jambalaya and Kimchi for lunch made for interesting evenings with the Mrs.

Imagine how much better your neighborhood would be if your local government could somehow make it as tough to get an EBT processing approval as they do to get a liquor license.

All that coming from Cruz spawns of James Carville and Paul Begala.

Why would liberal New Yorkers turn out for a conservative candidate?

Anyone popular in NYC — I don’t want anything to do with!

Depends on how you look at it.

Only a 100 showing up for Cruz in a city with New York Values, like electing Hillary as their Senator, is actually a complement to a God fearing man.
