Newly discovered planet could destroy Earth any day now

A mysterious planet that wiped out life on Earth millions of years ago could do it again, according to a top space scientist.

And some believe the apocalyptic event could happen as early as this month.

Planet Nine — a new planet discovered at the edge of the solar system in January — has triggered comet showers that bomb the Earth’s surface, killing all life, says Daniel Whitmire, of the University of Louisiana.

The astrophysicist says the planet has a 20,000-year orbit around the sun and, at its closest to us, it knocks asteroids and comets toward Earth.

Fossil evidence has suggested most life on Earth is mysteriously wiped out every 26 million to 27 million years.

Nemesis or Nibiru was widely dismissed as crackpot pseudo-science — until Planet Nine was identified in January by the California Institute of Technology.

We should call it Rupert...

It could travel 200AU in roughly 23.7 years or 1500AU in 177.75 years.

Assuming it was knocked into an exact bee-line toward the Earth you are correct. More likely though, these gravitational disturbance events knock the comets into DIFFERENT orbits that send them into the inner solar system where they wreak all kinds of havoc with the orbital mechanics before things settle down. It's the multiple passes from each changing orbit that put the planets in peril. Impact with a planetary body could occur on the first orbit, or it could be on the tenth or fiftieth time around, taking many hundreds, thousands, or tens of thousands of years depending on how much it gets perturbed by Jupiter and any of the other smaller planets on its new path each time around - mere blips in solar system history but far from "next month" in human time.

Lots of meteors hit earth according to Revelation. Don’t wipe out the planet though. There is a day of darkness, too, that has to be a planet blocking the sun. Anyway...Love the humor.

Well, we’ll just have to use the force and get our one shot exactly right.

If you use a second shot, you might get arrested for excessive use of the Force.

And the problem mystery planet was supposed to have an orbital period of 3000 years. This one is something like 80 times the distance of Pluto from the sun, and has an orbit period of 20,000 years. What’s up with it paying a visit this month? Coincidence that it’s possible discovery announced 2 months back makes the news and were doommmed!!!

The following arrived in email:

GEOMAGNETIC STORM: Earlier today, April 7th, Earth passed through a fold in the heliospheric current sheet, plunging our planet into a region of interplanetary space filled with negative polarity magnetic fields.

The result: a G1-class geomagnetic storm is in progress. High-latitude sky watchers should be alert for auroras after nightfall on April 7-8.

FWIW.

Worldwide, official gov policy is to never announce doomsday since there isn't anything they can do to prevent it.

Only if two observations are made of an orbital object. Nobody sees the little chunks until they pass by.

Actually I was talking about the orbit of the "planet".

Wow that video holds nothing back when it comes to what needs to be said and done to support our troops and Vets.

A shame that a few of the many support organizations, a few of the many VA officials and most definitely the current “c-i-c” are worse than worthless. Friendly fire isn’t.
