Isis old-age home massacre: Nun survivor reveals chilling details of killings

The sole survivor of an Islamic State (Isis) massacre of nuns by gunmen in an retirement home in Yemen has provided a first-hand account of the killings. Four Catholic nuns and 12 other people were killed on 4 March when gunmen stormed the retirement home run by a charity established by Mother Teresa.

The report began: "Isis dressed in blue came in, killed guard and driver. Five young Ethiopian men (Christian) began running to tell the Sisters Isis was here to kill them. They were killed one by one. They tied them to trees, shot them in the head and smashed their heads."

The account goes on to describe now the nuns ran in different directions and others screamed, "Don't kill the Sisters". It notes that when the sisters began to run, Sister Sally ran to the convent to attempt to warn Father Tom.

The nun reportedly saw "all the sisters and helpers killed" in front of her and saw gunmen heading towards the convent. She was forced to hide in the refrigerator room while Islamic State (Isis/Daesh) gunmen were "everywhere searching for her" as she believed that they knew there were five nuns.

The nuns were killed one by one. The jihadis tied them to trees, shot them in the head and smashed their heads."

Brave Moslem men.... scum

.

The Houthis (Shia) do not do this -- why are we allowing the Saudis to support the Islamic state and Al Qaeda in Yemen?

Shia doesn’t do it now, doesn’t mean they wouldn’t do it in future if geopolitical system changed.

The Sufi are fairly peaceable and they are a deliberate mystic take on Islam. If all Islam were Sufi we wouldn’t have nearly as much world violence problems.

No, no, no! This has nothing to do with islime! These were renegade Baptists hopped up on industrial solvents, not muslime barbarians carrying out a jihad against peaceful Catholics.

Consult the Council on American Islamic Relations for further clarification.

By far our biggest concern here is that this incident could cause a backlash in the form of increased islamophobia.

Meanwhile, the current President of the United States brings moslems to the US by the boatload.

Does anyone really believe that there are no ISIS sleepers among them?

One could easily carpet bomb a city, a lot less easily a group of roving, sneaking cowards. If ISIS/Daesh was a country with borders that only sat put, it would have been knocked out long ago. Instead it mixes with confused societies who do not comprehend the danger.

You aren’t going to find any army in the world who’s willing to carpet bomb that. Nor should they. This needs guerrilla warfare.

It’s unclear from the article who was killed after being tied to trees, but from the way it is written it was five young Ethiopian men that were killed in that manner.

Evil, in either case.

Why wasn’t this on my 6 o’clock news? They had murders, rapes, accidents. Oh, I forgot. The media, in concert with the democrat party, has vowed to protect at all costs the latest and fastest-growing certified victim group which will faithfully vote democrat and send mucho bucks to dems.

Why should the nations say,
“Where is their God?”
Let the avenging of the outpoured blood of your servants
be known among the nations before our eyes!

Indeed. And before we go “JUDGING” remember the crusades back in 1200 and how horrible Christians were.
F#@*ing slime of a president, should have been impeached!

Christian faith carried this philosophy, which the Old Testament almost exclusively knew as earthly, into the eternal sphere. Ephesians 6, etc.

Trouble is, a lot of people don’t want to wait for God’s ways of sending certain parties to hell, even if it makes for a better heaven for the rest.

When looking at Crusade horrors we should also be looking at Islam horrors. So Christians, or people who said they were Christians, did some things wrong. Is the answer to do even more things wrong?

Hey, I’ve got a GREAT idea. Let’s bring hundreds of thousands of these animals into this country, let them vote, give them welfare, let them proselytize for Allah, and make them “Americans”. I am sure whatever evil pathologies they may have will be cured by being exposed to shopping malls and TV.

There are no boundaries for these people. They murder infants, young kids and nuns with impunity.

Since the slaughter of Christians doesn't appeal to Hollywood the way Darfur used to, when it was trendy, I feel hopeful knowing that Obama refuses to change his strategy of containing ISIS. /s

I was using hyperbole.

Hyperbole slips out of my mouth quite often when I hear things like nuns being tied to trees, shot and their heads bashed in.

Another favorite of mine is the old saying...."turn it into a parking lot and let God sort it out."

I really don't care if my language is "appropriate" or "feasible" right now.

"God wanted a witness"
The nun reportedly saw "all the sisters and helpers killed" in front of her and saw gunmen heading towards the convent. She was forced to hide in the refrigerator room while Islamic State (Isis/Daesh) gunmen were "everywhere searching for her" as she believed that they knew there were five nuns.

The account states: "At least three times they (gunmen) came into the refrigerator room. She did not hide but remained standing behind the door – they never saw her. This is miraculous."

In the account, it is revealed that Sister Sally is "so sad" as she is alone and did not die with her sisters. However, the nun notes that "God wanted a witness" to the massacre and that if she had not been there to tell the truth about what happened, she is not sure who would have found the bodies of the nuns and what they would have told the world.
