TRENTON — Gov. Chris Christie is "in his own private hell" over his February endorsement of GOP front-runner Donald Trump, U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas said Tuesday.
Appearing on "The Glenn Beck Show," Cruz told the conservative host that Trump seemed to insist on behaving like the famous fictional Mafia don depicted in Francis Ford Coppola's "The Godfather," Michael Corleone.
"The presidency should not be La Cosa Nostra," said Cruz, adding that the real estate tycoon seemed to demand a similar level of "Godfather"-like deference and respect from the governor.
"You know what gets me," Cruz said. "The servility of Chris Christie being forced to call him, 'Mr. Trump.' Chris Christie is a good man."

Both these guys must get out of the gutter. This personal stuff will affect them in a negative away and they may suffer the fate of Rubio. I voted for Cruz in the primary, but am beginning to drift toward Trump but mad as hell against both for these attacks on each other.

I think he has some "issues."
Once I agreed on all of Cruz’s positions and really liked him as a nominee. I voted for him in the primary.
Now I still agree with him on his positions. But I don’t like him near as much as a person. I am now leaning toward Trump, although I don’t like personal attacks on Cruz and others either. His attacks don’t seem to come from the heart as does Cruz’s.
What to do??? I will vote, even if holding my nose!

I don’t know if you’re more caring, but you obviously like Trump more than I like Cruz.

First of all, I don’t understand how anyone could vote for someone that Glenn Beck supports. It puts them in the same “nuts” category.
Second, way to piss off some more Italians, Cruz. I think he’s trying to make sure he gets less than 10% in the New York primary.

Ted you will see when you totally lose the NJ primary and later Christie gets the AG job in a Trump admin that you are Trump’s beoytch not Christie.
I gotta hand it to Ted. He pulled off the best scam ever by morphing from a Bushie to a Tea Party candidate. No one even noticed.
I noticed. That’s why I didn’t vote for him in the Texas senate primary. There was something about him that made me think it was all an act. And it was.
