With a deck? a dock? a duck?
Wow, is Ann taking all her columns directly from FR arguments now?
How many Reagan democrats do you think voted for Jimmy Carter?
Most excellent, Ann.
And that has what to do with this article?
Ask old man Kennedy. Its how he got his son "elected" president. Ask "Landslide Lyndon" how he got elected in Texas.
“AHA! We’ve got you, Larry! Please — get a life. Exactly how many assemblies and caucuses was Larry required to attend? Do you need to read more to know what a weaselly nerd Cruz is?”
It is the same as my state, Washington. Three total. Of course even if you just go to the first one you are having an opportunity to make your voice heard. (It is sort of a vote - just raising your hand or saying “Okay - we select Larry to go.”)
I got an email from a Cruz volunteer to remind me to go to my precinct caucus (1.5 miles away). I did, and was elected to go to my district caucus (6 miles away). (Larry was elected to go to his County Assembly).
I got some more emails of when/where that caucus was, and got a call from a Cruz volunteer to remind me. Larry said “somebody” told him he didn’t need to attend his County Assembly (which is similar to my District Caucus). Larry DID get a documented 6-minute long phone call from his Assemblyman reminding him to attend his County Assembly.
I was elected to go to my state caucus. I had all sorts of emails about registering for that within 10 days. They stopped when I finally registered.
Based on Larry’s story I emailed my district chair about something. She emailed me within three hours and clarified that I was all set to go to the state convention.
The hardest part about the whole process was at the District Caucus and making sure I filled in the circle on the ballot with black ink. I’m a bit OCD that way.
BTW - first time I ever got involved like this. I’m a bit ashamed to admit that. Oh - it was Larry’s first time too. He seems like an okay guy, I hope he continues trying to get involved in spite of him burning his ID card.
Your post pretty well nails it. Ann Coulter long ago lost her mind AND conservative bona fides.
Basically Ann is a hack, will suspend all intelligence for whatever her cause is.
If only those were brains.
Oh, wait, maybe they are brains.
Is Ann-Drew upset with Cruz over his opposition to transgender rights?
If we are doing movie refrences, Trump is John Yerkes Iselin and Hillary is Mrs. Iselin.
Wow. This is worthless tripe.
It’s absolutely incomprehensible and unintelligible.
This is what you are devolving to?
Ann is right about Wisconsin. That state does not get enough (negative) attention for helping to create the Amerika of today, especially the communistic wort of the La Follette dynasty. My parents, very conservative, left there in early adulthood.
My college roommate, a bizarre Calvinist-progressive hybrid I have encountered elsewhere, left his childhood state and made Madison his lifelong home. I am sure he feels very comfortable (and superior) there.
