I was told yesterday that Trump is a liberal Democrat.

My reply:

Build the wall.
Enforce the law.
Deport them all.
End sanctuary cities.
End anchor babies.
Slap a moratorium on muslim immigration.
Cut the taxes.
Cut the spending.
Cut the regulations.
Cut the government.
Cut the debt.
Cut the EPA.
Repeal ObamaCare.
Get the feds out and allow health insurance to be sold over state lines.
Send education back to states.
Get a handle on trade.
Make trade deals in our own best interests.
Bring back capital.
Bring back manufacturing.
Bring back jobs.
Strengthen the economy.
Defend the second amendment.
Defend religious freedom.
Appoint constitutional conservative judges.
Rebuild our military.
Bomb the shit out of ISIS (and take their oil).

End political correctness.
Take the GOP head-on.
Take the media head-on.
Take the liberals head-on.
And win, baby, win.

All of the above on a shoestring budget compared to most of the 16 competitors he’s defeated (after they spent 100's of millions of donor bucks).

No PACs.
No big donors.
No party support.

What’s democrat about any of the above?
What’s not conservative?
What’s not to like?

And I’ll add a few more:

Redo the horrid Iran deal.
Take a serious look at NATO.
Require our allies to pay more for their defense.

Rebuild the Reagan Coalition and attract blue collar workers by making America first again on manufacturing, trade, secure borders, economy and jobs, jobs, jobs!

Make America Great Again!

That’s the whole point, Xspurt.

Trump stands for a Free Republic, so there is no need to change the name. Trump equals Free. Sorry if I wasn’t more clear.

He did a lot of things in his own best interest as a private citizen.

Are you a Ted Cruz supporter? You don’t post much, however you were one of the patriots in regards to Obama being ineligible.

Trump views everything from that standpoint: does it help, or hurt, the American people? He is not an intellectual. He is not a lawyer. His filter is a simple yet profound one. Is it good for America?

About damn time.

Indeed and that is a great way to put it.

In my opinion, Trump doesn’t go far enough to make America great again...
But it’s a great start.

If you want to strike ISIS, the places to bomb are the royal palaces in Riyadh

Fifteen years after 9/11, our enemies still sleep soundly in their beds in Riyadh and Islamabad.

Could not have said it better myself, although I have tried. I really think a lot of the opposition to him has nothing to do with his demeanor or donations to liberals or whatever other excuses they trot out. It all boils down to trade but they don’t want to admit it and expose themselves as globalists.

The same could be asked of Senator Cruz; my Senator by the way. Cruz has been a deceptiCON from his first run for the Senate. I don’t need to rehash the Canadian/US duality do I?
Or bring up the Goldman Sachs loan or his wife’s statements on the one world crapola. Do I? Do I really?

Just admit you have been deceived by him and make amends. I gave his campaign donations in the past year until it became clear to me that he wasn’t what his campaign wanted me and others to believe he was.

So now election year promises are how we define Conservatism?

By that criteria, the whole GOP is conservative.

I thought that’s why Conservatives look to the record to determine a candidate’s Conservatism.

I must have missed the memo.

Trump is accomplished and successful. What has Ted done other than exist as a junior senator and lawyer? The only thing that he has generated is hot air. Now his needle is skipping and he keeps repeating “vote for me, I’m not Trump”.

I don’t believe him....and he has nothing in his history to support those positions. ..nothing which he has fought for nor did he influence...just the opposite he fought and supported those who opposed what he’s now claiming as his own.

But many simply “believe” him and that’s just not enough for me...not even remotely. Especially when we have a candidate who has fought and is consistent and ready to hit the floor running, along with those positioned and being positioned to make it happen.

I have watched this forum destroy good conservative people like president George w. Bush and dozens more.

The idea that I am going to bow down at the altar of trump cult ain’t going to happen.

It is fundamentally wrong to expect that pointing out trumps anticonservative position is “crap”.

Trump is not God.

I like Cruz.

If trump wants to sue me or use eminent domain to take my home let him try.

I don’t agree because as Ben sasse eloquently stated trump does not believe in the first amendment

I do.

I know Cruz does.

Trump is an anticonservative bully.

If free republic bans all pro Cruz posts then it ceases to be a free republic

Only 4 Conservative media outlets still exist today.

1. Drudge Report
2. Free Republic
3. Savage Nation
4. Info Wars

... in that order ...

Honorable mention:
5. WND

Wow. You are writing in complete sentences now. However, you need to work on your coherency. Keep trying. Also, learn how to employ some logic. Tossing names around does nothing but expose your intellectual weaknesses to the forum.

Mr. Jim, Thank you! Thank you for posting this! My sentiments exactly!

I am one of those ‘over the hill’ guys who was taught to think by my father. I was born in the middle of FDR’s first term. I heard ‘fireside chats’ on the radio. I learned about Henry Wallace (sorry to have to admit he is a fellow alumnus) poisoning mounds of potatoes with potassium permanganate and killing baby pigs (all this to support farm prices) when people in this country were going hungry during the Depression.

I was a senior in high school when ‘Ike’ was elected. Three of us skipped school to watch his inauguration, and got slaps on the hand by the Vice Principal for doing such a dastardly deed (btw, we had parent’s permission). But for us, it was the first time in our lives that we had a Republican President! And Ike’s is the only Presidential Library, in Abilene, KS, that I have visited. Worth a visit!

Again, thank you for posting!
