The hatred is pretty even from core supporters of both.

For every Cruz supporter who hates Trump, there is a multiple of Trump supporters hating Cruz. I'd put it conservatively at at least 10-fold. Many have been run off.

I thought my wife was going to break the TV when she watched his statement.

Luckily, with my considerable help, she restrained herself (it's a nice TV).

:-)

I hope Cruz steps back, takes a deep breath, and realizes he's got a bright future if he makes a deal with Trump. I am going to hold my breath, hoping he at least does it behind the scenes and plays a little kabuki theater until the convention.

I know the following is unlikely, but I really believe he would make a great Supreme Court Justice and if given the opportunity, it might be his calling. If not, he still has a good chance of becoming one of the great senators. He's young, there is plenty of time for him to rebound and have a great political career beyond the senate as well.

I think many have left voluntarily, particularly as the support here swung to Trump. It did so in droves over the last month and a half. I don't like what a lot of Trump supporters have defaulted to, but having once been a Cruz supporter I can tell you, the insults for months were really bad coming from the Cruz camp. Really bad, some of my oldest FR friends included.

I have tried (and mostly succeeded.....:-) to keep it even keeled, tried not to default to insults, and hopefully when the nomination is done, we can get back to yelling about the bamster and the lady in the future orange jump suit.

One of my little used pro Trump talking points is he's the only candidate to promise she will be pursued by the justice department if he wins.

Gutsy. I like it.

PS:

Minor was an 1874 decision, long made moot. Under Minor, women were not allowed to vote.

Did you ever think what it would have been like to tell Ronald Reagan that his wife Nancy could not vote for him?

This whole argument reminds me of Florida v. Zimmerman, re: the death of Trayvon Martin. The best evidence for my side is the “evidence” put forward by the other side.

Sooner or later you’ll get the opportunity to meet the Viking Kitties. I can hear them singing a warmup chorus in the background. Until then have fun with your little games.....

You never understood. I wanted Trump to win on real issues that swing voters would appreciate, but this NBC BS.

Last night, he did, and he will win big next week too, on issues he can ride to November, not the phony citizenship issue you so love.

And remember, if you are too tipsy to drive, it’s not a good idea to post either.

Also the lack of upper jaw front teeth projecting past lower edge of the upper lip.

He looks like a adult version of the kid, like you see in the TV commercials, who, “For just 19 dollars a month, World Wide Missions can save...”

“PS, if you need to rely on ad hominem attacks and avoid the law.....”

You seriously need to re-read my posts to you. Please show me, moi, one (1) ad hominem attack that I made on you.

You accuse me of being a drunk, yet project the use of ad hominem attacks on me.....let me remind you of your own words....”Citizenship Crybabies,”...Every non-lawyer, bartender, taxi driver and hairdresser...” oh, and something about being a Gypsy.....then again, being a drunk...sigh.

Avoid the Law.....projection again.... US Code 1401 is about all the various ways a person could/shall be a citizen. NBC is NOT about citizenship, it’s about a QUALITY of CITIZENSHIP. A eligibility requirement quality that tries to insure a person is 100% American in all aspects, before becoming President. An American pedigree if you will. A person born and raised by citizen parents among his countrymen and taught the history, values, mores, political philosophy, culture, society, and yes, even an appreciation for US Law!

Let’s see.... if you have a brand new dog, Poodle mother and Labrador father. It’s a dog right? Of course it is. 100% Canine. Yep! No argument! Retriever on both sides! Yesiree! Raised at home, Check!.... Now try to enter your Dog/canine into the Westminster Dog Show....won’t happen.. NO pedigree!..... Kinda like the NBC issue. NBC IS, of all the ways you can be a born citizen, the only one with the purely American Pedigree!

You’re trying to hang your hat on there being seemingly ineligible people running for President, none of which were EVER elected. Therefore, your conclusion, NBC doesn’t matter! A pure Non-Sequitor (sic). Sorry, but the NBC clause only applies if the person is ELECTED. then NBC becomes an issue. Still, recognizing that there is an issue beforehand is prudent. Refusing to see the issue and/or not taking action against it is shortsighted and foolish.

In the entire History of the US only 2 Presidents, born after the Constitution became Law, have avoided the NBC issue. President Arthur and President Obama. Arthur because he hid documentation, and had no serious challenges, only question that were avoided; and Obama through plain old fashioned brazen attitude, Democrat Party indifference and the prospect of a sure White House win, coupled with opposition party (Republican) weak knees in the face of possible backlash against an adverse decision to a “historic first” black President. In Obama. the Founders fears about what such a Presidency could result in, came true..

That the Court didn’t hear challenges to Obama isn’t, as Justice Clarence Tomas put it, because of no merit, but rather a simple example of “Judicial Cowardice.” see above....”weak kneed Republicans.”

Like LT Chard, Royal Engineers, and his Welshmen at Rorke’s Drift, we’re surrounded! (Or Chesty at Choisen.)

Seriously, as a self described legal beagle, “teaching ConLaw 101,” you KNOW that failure to uphold/enforce the law can, and often does, result in precedent, nullification of the law, or the ability to exercise one’s rights at a future date.

Question??? Did Obama/ Arthur/ Cruz, etc. commit FRAUD when they certified to the various Sec. of States that they met ALL Article II eligibility requirements? (Answer Obama didn’t, he only certified that he was the Democrat nominee.)

Rationality is often difficult for ideologues to cope with/ understand. Logic is even harder! Expediency is no legitimate reason not to try....

What were those lyrics? “I can make you feel, but I can’t make you think.......” Jethro Tull

“Minor was an 1874 decision, long made moot. Under Minor, women were not allowed to vote.”

Oh lord!

Minor was a case testing women’s suffrage....True. In it the court examined the things required to vote. Citizenship was the prime requirement. Was Liz a citizen? Holy heck yes, in fact she was the Gold Standard, a NBC, and the only one mentioned in the Constitution besides Naturalized citizens.

Liz was born in the US to 2 citizen parents. She was an NBC. The court looked no farther into what other circumstances would result in citizenship.

That Minor is moot is in regards to it’s finding that the state could limit WHICH citizens could vote, does not alter that the Court recognized what the Founders meant by the term NBC. That stands and has been consistent in it’s application in numerous citizenship cases. see Elg.

No none of these cases involved a candidate’s eligibility,
(non NBC elected candidates are few and far between...actually only 2 since 1792),but these cases did revolve around people born in the US to citizen parents. The courts consistently call these people NBCs. NO other circumstance results in the NBC quality of citizenship. NONE.

Since you are simply repeating this long outdated legal lunacy, and have proved you cannot learn, I’m sorry but trying to teach you practical law is like teaching a pig to dance.

The instructor doesn’t know here to start...
The pig never gets better...
and it just frustrates the pig.

No more

You mental masturbation and personal attacks are not worth a reply.

You never even got point #1. I wanted Trump to win on the issues that can carry him to victory in November, not this citizenship idiocy that only gets him laughed at in intelligent circles, and some support of those who should be laughed at themselves.

Good by.

“The instructor doesn’t know (w)here to start...”

At last ! The real Truth about yourself.

The instructor is faking it. He really doesn’t know how, or what to teach. Does the word bankrupt mean anything to you? I guess not...

Ta Ta sonny boy!

You may want to contact FR Admin, as a person who wants to make you look very foolish... and “just not quite there” has obviously hijacked your name and password.

I’m sure you are much more rational than these posts would indicate, so you might want to change your password.

Good luck.

Pretty cocky for someone that just signed up yesterday aren’t you?

A mere perusal of the thread exchange between us easily reveals what is what, and who is who. You have my sympathy (not). I’ll mail your azz back to you someday. COD. You sure like that projection stuff don’t you?

Put it all together with your ad hominem attacks, name calling, and general immature attitude. Yep, you’re sure to go far wherever you care to travel, winning friends, and influencing people.

Strac? Navy term for “squared away.” Self perceived quality?

6 Never heard a Navy guy use that term, but the Marines and I think the Army use that to denote a unit Commander.

“Squared away Commander??????”

lololololololo .....Strac6! lololololol.... good one! LMAO

Wow.

Do you really write this stuff?

Please help me understand, why do you think you “know” me. Do you hear me “saying” things to you that are not in my posts?

And also, the Viking Cats/Kitties/Kiddies thing? Please help me understand that as well. Do these Viking Cats talk to you too?

Have you ever felt that these Viking Cats, or Kitties, or Kiddies (small children), whatever they are, do they ever make you do things you really don’t want to do?

These Cats, or Kitties, or Kiddies/Small Children, are they really real to you, or, at your “quiet” times, do you understand they aren’t “real” cats or small children?

And you don’t really know about Strac???? Hmmmm?

And also, please understand that for you to “mail my azz back to me someday”, I would have had to mail it to you first. Sorry, can’t do that... as I’ve grown rather attached to it.

Warmest regards.
