I disagree with your predictions. I think Trump focuses on what is important, hires the best and lets them do their job. That doesn’t mean that he changes who he is, nor does he have to.

Manafort, the essence of the GOPe. A lobbyist for a Pakistani front. How lovely for the Donald.

I’ll take Manafort. Cruz has Neil Bush and Romney. Are they anti-establishment now too? LOL.

Trump needs to wrap up the nom ASAP. That’s all this is about. Cruz is out of the race in 5 minutes without never Trump legs to stand on.

Ya...

In one day he backtracked on Abortion, Immigration, Taxes, and Transgender bathrooms.

Now it’s announced that he’s transitioning to a National Campaign, meaning moving further left.

Proving he’s the self-serving opportunist we always knew he was.

He did say he could be anything we wanted him to be.

Who's desire will he pick?

So far he is angling for the non-conservative Republican crowd.

Yeah I’m chomping at the bit. But you know he’s gotta be thinking ahead about how he’s going to pop her balloon.
It’s going to be a wonderful thing to see someone who gives as well as he gets (for a change) going up against the head ‘rat, whomever that might be.
For those (not you) late to the party, never mind the bollocks—it’s all about taking the White House back.

“He’s locked up the first set of chumps and they are going anywhere. Now its time to go find more chumps.”

And Cruz has locked up the “You have no right to pleasure yourself” Voters.

Yea right!

He hasn't backtracked on anything, he just said they were non-issues (abortion and transgender).

You do know that Reagan raised taxes don't you?

The one who is self serving is Cruz who ought to have dropped out since he has been mathematically eliminated.

True, he can’t make it through the nomination and general election with his entire party agaisnt him in addition to the Dems. Now once he becomes president and brings his business crew in with him, he can start taking out the trash and making progrss.

But he can’t fight the entire system while he’s still running, they would stop at nothing to stop him if they believed they’re power was in jeopardy.

Now the rationalization by the Trumpsters begins. Should be fun watching them contort themselves into pretzels.

Trump’s newly hired senior aide, Paul Manafort, made the case to Republican National Committee members that Trump has two personalities: one in private and one onstage. “When he’s out on the stage, when he’s talking about the kinds of things he’s talking about on the stump, he’s projecting an image that’s for that purpose,” Manafort said in a private briefing. “You’ll start to see more depth of the person, the real person. You’ll see a real different guy,” he said.

The Associated Press obtained a recording of the closed-door exchange.

“He gets it,” Manafort said of Trump’s need to moderate his personality. “The part that he’s been playing is evolving into the part that now you’ve been expecting, but he wasn’t ready for, because he had first to complete the first phase. The negatives will come down. The image is going to change.”

The PART that he's been PLAYING?

Poor choice of words by Manafort — nobody is perfect. Just hope he knows the convention business, which is why Trump hired him.

I think Trump is Trump and will always be. Many of us think that he is what this country needs at this point.

Anyone who has paid attention to the issue polls from the beginning has realized that Trump’s stances on issues, building the wall, illegal immigration and muslim temporary halt, has polled higher with Trump’s name not mentioned than when the question was associated with the name Trump.

We know Trump needs work on delivery. That is the point they were making. I don’t think these are revolutionary thoughts.

Trump is learning to change his thinking from “all publicity is good publicity” which has served him in entertainment but not as well as a candidate.

Trump is adjusting; that’s a good thing.
