You may think you’re being cute, but the divisiveness you bring to the threads won’t be missed.

Didn’t I send you videos of Trump in his own words? I guess he must be part of that Trump-hating media...

“So are Trump supporters going to be sore losers if Cruz wins?”

You bet. By the millions.

Because the only way Cruz can win is by underhandedly siphoning off delegates from the candidate who is clearly the choice of the majority of people who are actually allowed to VOTE. He is mathematically eliminated from winning. He should muster what little integrity he has left, go back to Texas and thump Bibles, lie, and proclaim his own greatness THERE. Jeb Bush had enough integrity to drop out when he realized he wasn’t the people’s choice - so did Rubio. Ted Cruz, it seems, doesn’t have that much good sense, because the only way he can “win” now would alienate SO many Trump voters that he could never possibly win in the general election ANYWAY. Way to go, Teddy! All for the sake of your own, insanely overblown EGO.

Hope that answers your question.

I know, it’s very frustrating

Only way I can make them compatible is to ignore the thing that frustrates me.

Before this unfortunate primary, always loved Vets articles and posts. I never, ever looked on him with any kind of harsh eye, and I don’t want to let this primary change that.

What is amazing is, with ALL THE CHEATING that the RNC does with the vote count, DJT is STILL WINNING.

Very well said. And the Cruz fanboys who are cheering for a contested convention love to just talk right past this obvious elephant in the room.

Any thinking person who follows Cruz's strategy to its logical conclusion at the convention, cannot argue that he has the best interests of either the party or the country at heart. Unless he sees himself as some kind of Messianic figure, which he most assuredly is not. All one has to do to realize that is to review his amoral, unprincipled, Machiavellian behavior during the course of this primary season.

Cruz's behavior is precisely the thing that has driven the vast majority of the membership of this forum into the Trump camp. That, and Trump clear leadership.

And, as I stated, Cruz supporters apparently if their man wins the nomination, are content with the perfectly logical and totally inevitable consequences:

That is what happens if Ted Cruz forces a contested convention and (magically, mind you) steals seizes the GOP nomination from Donald Trump. There is no other possibility.

Is that absolutely insane or what?

For God's sake, and the party's and the nation's, vote Trump!

There is NO way that Cruz can get 1237 PRIOR to the Convention, nor at a brokered/contested convention. To claim that that is a possibility in uneducated and blinkered.

I could have beaten Teddy, in a debate, as a freshman in high school! He's a lousy debater and has less than NO idea how to beat Hillary in a debate! She already has a complete playbook on how to beat Ted, since she's done that before. HOW TO BEAT TRUMP? SHE HAS NO P;LAN NOR IDEA!

Nor could Cruz beat Hillary in the general election! He won't get any crossover, no disaffected Dem, few if any blacks, and less of the GOP base than Romney got!

Cruz is NOT an NBC, which is WHY his BFF, that sleazy TRAITOR Justice Roberts refused to take the case.

THE DEMS WILL HIT HIM WITH BOTH BARRELS RE THE NBC THING!

Teddy should drop out no later than next Wednesday morning; ditto for KaSICKO! Right now they are both just trying to be "spoilers" and this is NOT "conservative" as it is wrecking the GOP.

There's a simple, straightforward reason why one candidate (Trump) continues to skyrocket in all the polls, while the other one (Cruz) dwindles further and further into electoral irrelevancy:

LOL. Took me awhile to understand your graphic ... finally, I read your tagline! Quoting Jim! Clever you, but I first checked!

I also believe that Mr. Donald Trump wins the hearts and minds of voters while Senator Cruz is busy "winning" delegates and guess which win counts more in both the short term and long run?

Mr. Donald Trump, GOP Nominee 2016, (1st Ballot) - POTUS-Elect, Donald J. Trump November 8,2016, - POTUS Donald J. Inauguration January 20, 2017!

I began supporting Ted Cruz the day that he announced his candidacy. However, I have come to accept the fact that he will not be the nominee and I have come to accept the fact that Trump will be the nominee. And, I am prepared to support Trump to the hilt.

However, I am going to suggest that Trump and all of us who now support him should do all that we can to avoid antagonizing voters who are having a lot of difficulty accepting the reality that their candidate (Cruz) is not going to be on November's ballot. Trump is going to need all the support that he can get to defeat Hillary. Those who have supported Cruz (or any other losing candidate) should be treated with respect. We're going to need all of them in November.

It is not Cruz who will be hurt by a failure to make peace in the party.

That’s a good answer, and I think that this may also come into play:

The absolute devastation many of us would feel if such an overwhelming catastrophe as a Cruz nomination would crush our nation.

Being with in a hairs breath of getting our nation back from the GOPe, only to see a traitor such as Cruz align with The Establishment again, denying us The Wall, forcing us to continue to pay for modernizing China, seeing our vets continue to suffer while illegals get free healthcare.......

The damnation and abandonment I would feel from God with a Cruz nominee would be more than I could bear.

I couldn’t possibly even get myself to the polls, let alone cast my vote for the man who brought this hell down on us.

Cruz winning by assembling a coalition on helps Hillary if sore loser Trump supporters won’t support Cruz if he wins the nomination. Given what I have seen here on FR , I would not be surprised if Trumpets slink off and fail to support Cruz. Personally, I will support Trump if he wins, but I would prefer Cruz and hope he ultimately prevails.

So are Trump supporters going to be sore losers if Cruz wins?

Not all of us, but enough to guarantee a Hillary victory in November.

Again, you're talking past the fact that the process woiuld be totally illegitimate, when taken as a whole.

You're dreaming. There's absolutely no way Ted Cruz coiuld unite the party, because him being in a position to even do so could only be the result of what is perceived as illegitimate tactics. Whether that's right or wrong is irrelevant. That is how it would be perceived. Tha is how I would perceive it.

Cruz and the GOPe have created this dynamic with their "NeverTrump" insanity. They failed to think it through to its logical conclusion.

That means the party burns if Trump doesn't get the nomination, understand? There is no other possibility. The GOPe and Ted Cruz have made their amoral, unprincipled, Machiavellian bed of nails, and now they're going to have to sleep in it.

That means the your boy, who has collapsed in national and state polls all over the country, will not get the GOP nomination under any circumstances.

Why? Because not only is the GOP is not suicidal, they're not going to let Ted Cruz (whom they hate) murder the party either.

Dream time is over. Moving forward, thank you for attending to reality.

So it is written, so it shall be done.

If you can concoct any plausible alternative, please, enlighten us. But it can't involve some fantasy of Ted Cruz uniting a party, the majority of whose voters will see his nomination as illegitimate, and it can't involve magic flying unicorns farting skittles which make everyone forget what has happened over the last several months with the relentless demonization and smearing of Donald Trump, in which Ted Cruz has participated energetically and wholeheartedly.

That's the fact, Jack.

Vote Trump

Posted on ‎4‎/‎16‎/‎2016‎ ‎8‎:‎24‎:‎54‎ ‎PM by Jim Robinson I was told yesterday that Trump is a liberal Democrat. My reply: Build the wall. Enforce the law. Deport them all. End sanctuary cities. End anchor babies. Slap a moratorium on muslim immigration. Cut the taxes. Cut the spending. Cut the regulations. Cut the government. Cut the debt. Cut the EPA. Repeal ObamaCare. Get the feds out and allow health insurance to be sold over state lines. Send education back to states. Get a handle on trade. Make trade deals in our own best interests. Bring back capital. Bring back manufacturing. Bring back jobs. Strengthen the economy. Defend the second amendment. Defend religious freedom. Appoint constitutional conservative judges. Rebuild our military. Bomb the shit out of ISIS (and take their oil). End political correctness. Take the GOP head-on. Take the media head-on. Take the liberals head-on. And win, baby, win. All of the above on a shoestring budget compared to most of the 16 competitors he’s defeated (after they spent 100's of millions of donor bucks). No PACs. No big donors. No party support. What’s democrat about any of the above? What’s not conservative? What’s not to like? And I’ll add a few more: Redo the horrid Iran deal. Take a serious look at NATO. Require our allies to pay more for their defense. Rebuild the Reagan Coalition and attract blue collar workers by making America first again on manufacturing, trade, secure borders, economy and jobs, jobs, jobs! Make America Great Again!
