Ted Cruz, John Kasich join forces to stop Donald Trump

Ted Cruz and John Kasich issued startling statements Sunday night about their paths ahead, the first sign the two campaigns are coordinating to deny Donald Trump the Republican presidential nomination.

Within minutes of each other, the pair issued statements saying they will divide their efforts in upcoming contests with Cruz focusing on Indiana and Kasich devoting his efforts to Oregon and New Mexico. The strategy is aimed at blocking Trump from gaining the 1,237 delegates necessary to claim to GOP nomination this summer.

“Cruz, Kasich, et al are mathematically eliminated and cannot win the nomination per the voters. They can attempt to re-wrest the nomination away from Trump and away from We the People only by corrupt establishment treachery at the convention. And that will split and destroy the party and guarantee a Hillary win.”

I cannot believe there are some people on FR who still support Cruz. I don’t get it.

I don’t want him, either. You’ll get my vote if you run.

“This is absolutely disgusting.”

Yes, but entirely predictable, and absolutely meaningless. This just allows Trump to trash them both more easily. The people who like Kasich are not the same as those who like Cruz. They are both already running in the primaries, and losing. So by saying they are collaborating what to they hope to accomplish? The fact is that they will lose votes this way.

F_ck Ted Cruz and all who support him. After going thru every election cycle since the site opened, I’ve watched establishment trolls come and go. (Not my first username.)

At this point there is no way any Cruz supporter can say their guy is not GOPe, and now working for Hillary. Any contested convention will merely coronate that witch.

As Jim said, either unite behind the nominee or opus out.

From the article;

As we stand here today, there are two people with any plausible path whatsoever to the nomination, me and Donald Trump," Cruz said Sunday in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Would anyone care to define "Plausible Path"?

It took 45 posts for someone to agree with Cruz. He is in some deep trouble as this shows.

Thank God Trump ran and ripped the mask off this stooge. His appearance at the Mandela funeral should have been our clue.

Cruz, Kasich, and the GOPe just told the American people that they don’t matter....

Election results in every state prior to New York show that a majority of the Republican electorate (greater than 50%) does not want Trump as the nominee.

So if a majority is "the will of the people," then stopping Trump will uphold the will of the American people. But then what? A majority doesn't want Cruz or Kasich.

Could it be any more clear they are all ONE?

What to do, if they succeed in stealing it from DJT.....

I wonder what would happen if all the producers of this country just stopped producing.....non-violent resistance. Hmmm....
