Limbaugh, Beck, Levin, Loesch – They’re Not Obtuse, They’re Not Opportunistic, They’re Liars…
The Last Refuge ^ | April 30, 2016 | sundance

As a general principle no conversations have involved more varied opinions than discussions about the supposed “conservative” media and their seeming cognitive dissonance when it comes to issues surrounding Senator Ted Cruz.

Some people think these voices were just hoodwinked by Cruz and now their ego won’t permit them to admit the falsehood. Others think the pundits are too close to the candidate to see the inherent issues and contradictions; some propose their punditry is connected to financial motives. Perhaps it’s a combination therein, but many people just can’t figure it out...

All of those aforementioned voices know this fact. Limbaugh, Levin, Beck and Loesch are not stupid, they know the construct of how this all came down.

You see, it takes an intentional action to ignore the truth of how Senator Ted Cruz created, supported, and advocated for Trade Promotion Authority. An advocate cannot claim a position fundamentally disconnected from reality without intentionally desiring to do so.

That’s why these pundit voices cannot be just merely making mistakes, flawed thinking, or errors in judgment. It’s not intellectual dishonesty at play here, it’s just flat out ordinary dishonesty.

Lying.

How about evil traitorous bastards then?
I think it’s both accurate and has a nicer ring to it.

Most don't know that in interviews readily accessible on YouTube, Heidi has said "I'm his running mate", and "We are partners [in the presidency]", Heidi told Megyn Kelly in an interview.

After our Cruzer friends know and understand TPA and TPP and Ted's role, they are then ready to move up to learning "The North American Union" and Heidi's role in the CFR (she worked for the Council on Foreign Relations) in advancing this, which would remove all US borders, law and our Constitution, and create one entity consisting of Canada, Mexico, and what was then formerly known as the USA.

After that, the Cruzer can get back with me and we'll move to our next lesson. We've got a lot of ground to cover.

Quite true. And The Conservative Treehouse has connected the dots that show Cruz Super Pacs providing payola to “conservative” media, including Rush, Beck, Levin, Loesch, National Review, etc. It’s in public FEC.gov documents; just takes a bit of time to connect the dots. Cruzers could learn enough of what they need to know about Cruz just from FEC.gov. But I can guarantee you that not one Cruzer on Free Republic has ever looked at FEC.gov.

Trump is just another establishment dealmaker?

You mean like the deal making Ted Cruz has had with the GOP to fund his super PACs and his alliance with John Kasich to get votes?

Thanks to both of you for pointing this out:

This has led to speculation that broadcast punditry is being funded in part by political campaigns. There is a considerable amount of evidence to support this, as FEC documents reveal tens of millions spent via LLC’s connected to media enterprises.

Salem Media Communications is the biggest recipient of the Super-PAC and campaign cash by far – look up who their voices are and you’ll see the most visible members of the #NeverTrump campaign. Salem is followed by iHeart (Limbaugh), Resurgent (Erickson) and many more. The chairman of Glenn Beck’s Mercury One Charity, David Barton, is also in charge of Keep The Promise, Ted Cruz’s Super-PAC – the same super-PAC that gave Carly Fiorina $500k last year.

I waited, even emailed him, as I wanted to hear about the Rubio/Murdoch open borders group, and the connection of a Fox executive’s relative to the Rubio campaign.

Didn’t hear a word, except gushing over Rubio. Rarely have listened since then.

I had the same realization some time ago.
I started this wild campaign behind Cruz and did not think Trump was serious.
Now I can’t stand Cruz and see a YUGE Trump landslide on the horizon.

I agree. I always thought David and his zeal for Cruz have influenced Rush.

Now Beck, OTOH, is a complete NUT. I just watched a clip of Beck and 3 of his colleagues, all with bowls of crushed Cheesies. They put on swim goggles and mushed their faces around in the crushed Cheesies. Why? They said that if they did that, then removed the goggles, they would look the same as Trump.

Do these people not watch this stuff and see how they look and sound? What ridiculous nonsense - no wonder he’s laying people off.

Rush has been VERY unbiased during this election cycle. I wouldn’t put him in that group either.

“Is Dave Brat a squishy moderate?”

Dunno.

By their fruit you will recognize them.

So show me.

“Does Donald Trump qualify as a conservative?”

We’re going to find out, aren’t we?

Regardless of what Donald is or is not, we certainly know what our government is not, and we also know that our government doesn’t want him at all.

So I’m going to do my best to give them what they do not want.

Is it possible that Donald will disappoint me? Sure.

Have all the others already disappointed me? Yep.

So now he gets a shot.

Too damn bad for them, and you too it would seem.

Sorry, but if Cruz must be banished for supporting one thing, than how is Trump the answer when he has funded EVERY leftist agenda item with financial support of the entire Democrat leadership. From Schumer to Reid to Pelosi to the many others. How can one shun Ted Cruz who was on the right side of every battle with Schumer, Reid and Peloisi, and Trump was on the other.

Cruz is a rock-solid constitutional conservative who will restore America to greatness.

A lot of us thought that 6 months ago.

Now, Cruz is a joke. A caricature. And if you really want to be honest, he was shaky long before that.

Cruz voted to give TPA to 0bama for the TPP abomination, and enable a situation where TPP could be passed with a simple majority instead of the 2/3 majority that should be required for TREATIES.

That wasn't conservative by any stretch of the imagination.

Then there was Cruz's vote for the Corker Bill!

That wasn't conservative by any stretch of the imagination.

Since that time, we've seen Cruz play the race card on Trump, and fail to show any solidarity with either the frontrunner or the party, in the aftermath of the canceled Chicago rally. Cruz gave only the briefest lip service in rebuke of the organized criminal thugs.

On top of that, Ted Cruz has jumped in bed with the GOPe and even hired Neil Bush (!) to his finance team.

Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, John McCain, Lindsay Graham? Are you serious?

And you few remaining Cruz fanboys wonder why Ted Cruz has lost the support of nearly this entire community?

Donald Trump has earned this nomination, in the face of a relentless campaign of character assassination fomented by the Left, Media, GOPe, and, of course, the "me too" Cruz campaign.

Apparently, Ted Cruz plans on limping into the GOP convention with, at best, about 700 delegates or so.

And then what's he going to do somehow, magically? He's going to seize the nomination from Donald Trump, displacing the party's clear frontrunner.

Then what? This is the most ridiculous part: after swiping the nomination, he will:

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is Cruz's best case scenario.

It would be laughable if it wasn't so dangerous.

Ted Cruz appears fully willing to sacrifice his own party, and even the country, on the altar of his own blind personal ambition.

Ted Cruz's egotism and malignant narcissism make Donald Trump's ostensible character deficits pale in comparison.

Vote Trump

Yeah, Limbaugh was always a p*ss bucket boy for the Bushes. He admitted it himself when W was screwing up so much that even he was frustrated with him.

And he was pushing for NAFTA and GOT like crazy I remember it very well because I call his show on that. Couldn’t just believe that he would do such a thing to his own country.

Here is the thing: Hitlery has files on everybody, including the GOP!! That’s why she is skating from all the scandals. THEY ARE SCARE OF HER!! And she is laughing because she has nothing to worry about. Nobody is going after her.

I am just praying for DT. We all should. He is the only one who has the guts to go after all or them. He is fearless! He is my hero.

I think it’s the end of talk radio and talking heads for a different reason. I think that all of us who used to depend on talk radio and Fox news for a voice, no longer need them. We found our voice through social media and live streaming. We can live without them. We found in Trump someone who stands up to the corrupt media we’ve been fighting for decades. He’s our voice against political correctness and everything else the left stands for.

He funded Ted Cruz too. Has Cruz returned Donald’s check?

Donating money to politicians is not the same as elected politicians using actual power to implement the government agenda.

What did Cruz do with his power? Corker Bill, TPA.
