While campaigning for Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Carly Fiorina in Indiana on Sunday, Glenn Beck told rally attendees that he thinks Fiorina, acting as vice president, might take on the role of Senate Majority Leader, so that in a Cruz White House “you wouldn’t need Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY)any more.”
Beck made his comments while greeting a group of rally attendees waiting in line outside the event venue.
After praising both Cruz and Fiorina as “the real deal,” Beck said, “I was someplace about a month ago with Carly. We were backstage and I said, ‘Are you familiar with the way the Senate used to run under Jefferson?’ She knew exactly what I was talking about, and she said, ‘That would require a vice president to be a real partner with the president.’”
Beck continued: “And what I think they are possibly thinking about doing is: Jefferson actually was the head of the Senate and actually took the role of the majority leader. So, you wouldn’t need Mitch McConnell any more. Jefferson when he was vice president, he moved all the legislation through the Senate. So, the White House really could get everything through without having to worry about the GOP, which would be good. It would be a real blessing.”
“And they are the constitutional scholars, all of them, that know how to do it,” he concluded.
Interestingly, Beck noted that this conversation with Fiorina took place “about a month ago,” which may have been around the time that he floated Fiorina as a potential VP for Cruz.

Set aside the carnival barking. I think the VP becomes Senate Pro Tempore. Not such a influential position as Senate Majority leader. It’s a rather obscure position that the VP only exercises during tie votes in the chamber.

The prayers to ban Trump, the stabbing, and the firing of Beck’s employees will continue until Cruz wins as per Beck’s interpretation of our constitution!

Is there one Indiana voter that will vote for Ted Cruz this coming Tuesday, May 3, 2016 in the GOP POTUS Primary? This guy Cruz has not only jumped the shark into a state of insanity......but, he is surrounded by the likes of the “unbalancd ones”, his wife, his father, Glenn Beck, Carly Fiorina and, Governor, Mike Pence, who pledges to vote for Ted Cruz....but adores Donald J. Trump!!! Go figure!!! I sure hope and pray that Indiana has more sensible and objective voters, then those that would support & vote for this gang of Cruz & his misfit, incompetents!!! SAD!!! Go DONALD J. TRUMP!!!
The fact that Cruz still has Beck on the road as a surrogate should scare the hell out of us all. These people can not gain power.
Ted Cruz is Obama in white skin, he evades and avoids all questions ask of him.
