By the same token, in Obama's America, a baker/florist/photographer cannot refuse to participate in a gay "marriage" . . . but . . . that artist can ask whether the pervert thinks it is appropriate to mandate that bakers/florists/photographers participate and then refuse based on the response. If the pervert says "yes" the mandate is okay, then the refusal is based on their support for slavery, not on their perversion. If the pervert says "no" and sues, the pervert was obviously lying, and the refusal was based on disgust with a liar who supports slavery.
A lawyer could work with that. The only leverage the thugs on the left have over us is our own integrity. Unfortunately, that is enough with most devout Christians.

It’s entirely plausiable that he has towed socialists before, and found out that they either didn’t have enough money to pay for the service, or were trying to defraud him in some other manner. Resolving that issue could end up costing him money or time.
I’d expect that to be a prominent part of a story that otherwise just paints him as a jerk.

I agree with the tow truck driver, but he shouldn’t be going down this line with denying customers based on political affiliations. That can go way bad for both sides if more people start doing. She just wanted a tow to get to a mechanic or to get home. She wasn’t asking to go to a gay wedding forcing him to make a donation to the Bernie campaign.
He could have given her the tow, then lectured her the whole way to the mechanic about how Bernie would ruin the country. That would have been more productive than being a jerk about it.

It would have been the most honest to say “I class politically vocal Democrats as unacceptable credit risks” than to trumpet his “faith” and make a smart aleck remark about getting the government to pay for it, which not even Bernie has proposed.
