Little bit of both. But I miss the actual maps. You could see at a glance what was all around you and make side trips off your main route. When you plug in a destination on the car GPS, it gives you a very narrow view of your trip and basically you go point A to point B without knowing all the great things you are passing by.

Nezt month, I’ll be taking a road trip from Nashville to St. Louis; third time in 3 years so I’ve already routed myself on the back roads. From there I’ll be taking Route 66 to Bloomington IL, so I’ll be going through lots of little towns.

Your continuing posts regarding Mr. Trump’s schedule are so very much appreciated. If not for you, his rally last night would have been missed completely. Unlike Mitt, who stepped down even before the election was over, Mr. T. goes onward and upward still fighting for the American people. His retort to Lyin’ Ryan yesterday only accents that particular fact. He is ‘in it to win it’ Again, a Thank You for keeping us abreast of the schedule and continued information.

The political pundits and the politicians in DC still don’t get it—wow, are they ever stupid.
The Dems know they are in deep trouble. Hillary is a felon, and Bernie’s a fruitcake.
Neither is going to win a national election against Trump.
They are working on Plan B as we speak—which is Biden/Warren or some such.
And how about that idiot Paul Ryan?
Speaker of the House for four whole months and has accomplished nothing, trying to set terms with Mr. Trump.

Seems weird to see Eugene skyline at the top of our rally thread.
Presidential candidates never come here.
But Trump is no ordinary candidate!
Eugene is also home of the University of Oregon and the Ducks.
We are all crazy Duck fans around here.
Because it is a liberal University town I expect to see a lot of protesters today. Most of Soros rent-a-mob come from Portland which is only 2 hours from Eugene.
I’m leaving early to get in line because the venue is small (only holds 5000).
I’ll try to check in and give updates of what’s happening.
It’s an hour 1/2 drive from my home. I’ll be accompanied by my brother-in-law, sister and one of my son’s. The weather is supposed to be partly cloudy and close to 80 degrees.

Your family vacations sound so familiar. With no Interstate highways there were never any gas stations found on State Highways open all night. Couldn’t count how many times we slept in the vehicle at the station pump in a small town, waking up to the roosters in the area in the dawning hours. Our country was seen from coast to coast; border to border by highways. It was seen and to quote another “it was spectacular!’ There is nothing comparable in the world. America is to be treasured.
