Assessing a fine and collecting a fine are two entirely different things.

What mechanism is in place to force payment from offending Nations?

These Euro countries and American states have an opportunity at hand to show the limits of federalism by refusing to take more migrants and leaving shower rooms as tradition warrants. To do so now would make for a brighter future.

The EC becomes more like our own tyrannical federal government every day.

I wonder if this is just another reason the Brits want out of the EU? And yes, I would also like to know how they plan on getting a payment out of another nation that refuses to take any invaders? It seems to me, that military force would be the only way.

It’s a suggested rule change....which the 28 nations would have to agree to before implementation. Chance of passing? Less than 10-percent chance if you ask me. The refusal could be creative in nature....saying you will take anyone under the age of twelve, and non-Muslim. How would the EU counter that?

oh, really.

Just how do you suppose they are going to ENFORCE it?

With the army and po-lice forces they gave up YEARS ago?

If this doesn’t break up the EU then western civilization is doomed and the darkest of dark ages will be upon us all.

Germany creates the problem attracting refugees from all over the Middle East with the mother of all refugee entitlement programs. Ends up choking on 1.1 million of these freeloaders and now wants to dump them on the rest of the EU with the use of fines. I say let them sleep in their own mess.

Pay the fines in euros; they will be worthless in a few months anyway.

Take it “out of their bank accounts”?

Really? What, you mean by hacking into the account and stealing the money? Do you really believe a member of the EU can waltz into a bank somewhere and place a Lien on the money of a sovereign nation?

Good luck with that.
