Donald Trump: Obama’s Government Should Get Out of Kids’ Bathrooms, Locker Rooms

The federal government should leave sexual regulation of the nation’s K-12 bathrooms and locker rooms to state and local governments, Donald Trump said in multiple interviews Friday.

“I believe it should be states’ rights and I think the states should make the decision, they’re more capable of making the decision,” Trump told the audience for ABC’s Good Morning America.

When pressed, he repeated his pro-federalism policy: “I just think it should be states’ rights. I think many things actually should be states’ rights, but this is a perfect example of it.”

The candidate was asked about bathrooms because of President Barack Obama’s Friday decree that the nation’s 100,000 public schools open their bathrooms and locker rooms to kids of both sexes

Perfect response. The closer it gets to home, the quicker stupid idiotic ideas will die, or never draw breath in the first place. It’s when DC starts mandating that things get all out of hand.

Good setup for elimination of the Dep’t. of (what was it Rick Perry...?)..oh yeah, Education.

As a CEO he knows what happens when upper management gets bloated overseeing what it is ill suited to oversee. This only makes sense from a management point of view.

Trump said that a government priority should be education.

Now we get a clearer view of what he means — some feared he meant that the Feds should keep a robust presence in it.

I think Trump is poised to give the evil eye to a lot of Federal arrogance. To him it will be nothing personal — just business.

I watched many of his rallies and every time he mentioned education he said “We’re getting rid of Common Core and taking education LOCAL” to loud cheers. So yes, this has been a consistent theme, but I too am happy to see that he’s viewing the stupid bathroom debate the same way.

Overall, the easiest way to downsize the federal government is going to be pushing things down to the state and local level. Which is where they should have been in the first place.

Perhaps the press should ask President Obama if Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner should be using the same locker rooms as his daughters Malia and Sasha at the next press conference.

Trump's common sense and his obvious ability and willingness to protect America and its citizens makes you wonder aloud:

What kind of half-caste know nothing do we have in the WH ....who actually has thoughts about permitting predator men in women's bathrooms.......looking for little kids.

Just the thought of that should be criminalized.....but this blithering idiot issues an executive action to promote it.

We got us one sick puppy in the WH.

But, but, but, he’s not conservative, so I’ve heard.

Trump is more conservative than a lot of the “conservatives” already in congress.

So many that the Democrats have formed a caucus, “People Endorsing Radical Views”.

PERV, for short.
