The “Trump Train” is headed straight for the general election and picking up supporters along the way, including more millennial voters.

According to a Fox News poll released Wednesday afternoon the billionaire has significantly closed the gap with Clinton among Gen Y voters, and is now leading among Gen-Xers by double digits.

In a head-to-head matchup, Clinton leads Trump among millennials by 11 percent, 46 to 35 percent, respectively. While Clinton still holds a double-digit lead, it’s down 7 points from a Fox News poll released on March 23 that showed an 18-point margin.

While some have warmed up to the idea of voting for Trump, (he increased his support among millennials by three percent), even more have lost any faith in voting for Clinton (her support has declined by four points).

It’s possible that some of these voters are Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) supporters who have become disenfranchised by Clinton and the Democratic establishment...

If millenials support a decrepid old guy like Bernie because he’s fighting ‘the system’, surely some of them will vote for Trump who’s also battling the establishment when the alternative is the queen of the system.

Hillary is:

(1) A shrill, unlikable woman with a voice like fingernails on a chalkboard.
(2) A candidate that can’t give a straight answer to any question.
(3) An elderly woman with a wrinkled, lumpy body hidden by oversized jackets.
(4) A candidate with a list of impressive jobs, but no positive accomplishments.
(5) A woman who has ridden on the coattails of her husband.

I watched a video of a Clinton campaign event recently. Bill was speaking while Hillary literally waddled across the stage. Bill looked and sounded geriatric. Hillary turned and waved and in so doing she gave a glimpse of the lumpy cellulite under the tent-jacket. So much for the youth vote...

Wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of the disenfranchised Bernie supporters (discovering the hard way that “Democrat” is not to be confused with “democratic”, rather an antonym actually) jump to Trump, whom they have grown up seeing on TV as a tough but fair leader.

I predict a minimum 55% popular vote for Trump in November, and that’s despite the massive voter fraud that will take place.

I think the real number will be 65% but will be masked by the voter fraud.

I am more concerned about the “lumpy cellulite” in her skull!

Trump’s latest tweet was spot-on.

If she is going to put her husband in charge of the economy, shouldn’t HE be running?

Millenials know she is an empty pantsuit.
I think they also are impressed that Trump clearly knows how to use social media.

That was 50 years ago. Today's liberals want 'the system' - government and crony capitalism - enhanced, strengthened and able to intrude further on the lives of private citizens. Any candidate who threatens to slow the growth of that system (let alone peel it back) is automatically defined as racist, sexist, evil incarnate, etc.

Ah it’s Clinton who has to “close the gap.” It will be this way until November.President Trump!

I’m in college and the only candidate other than Sanders with any support is Trump.

I hope that’s a national trend.

I suspect that this was always the case. The polls can no longer be used to prevent Trump from getting the nomination. They must now start reflecting reality.

At this point, I don't place much stock in the polls. Let's wait until after the conventions when both parties have selected their nominees.

Poll after recent poll are showing the trend away from Hillary and toward Trump as the reality of Hillary hits home for those who have just started to think about it.

“I think they also are impressed that Trump clearly knows how to use social media.”

Despite the enemedia’s repeated proclamations that Democrats are masters of the new media, it was all BS (as usual). There’s been no one even close to Trump in terms of effective use of social media. Ever.

Trump smartly reached out to Bernie supporters with a couple of tweets a while back. He can’t win them all, but for the price of a couple of well placed tweets he can get a good share. I overheard a millenial woman (it was impossible not to) talking about politics. She was completely turned off by the manoeuvrings of Hillary and the democrat party to give her the nomination. She decided to register as a green party member and “keep her integrity”.
