Thanks. Agreed.

The question is really how and who.

I would take a good look at a stewardess who posted a picture of her wading out of water dragging her flight bag. That is a little beyond weird.

As for the pilot being the bad guy....maybe.

But there are several cases of pilots who intentionally crashed airliners and none of them used a bomb.

My guess is that it was a person who had no control over the aircraft so a bomb was required.

Good point in your last sentence. Bomb placed in the rear of the cockpit, under a jump seat or something which also impacted bathroom. Ground crew a possibility, anyone with access to cockpit. Right side cockpit windows getting blown out took a brunt of the explosion as well as disabling flight controls.

It wasn’t the Egyptians. This hurt the Egyptians more than anyone else.

Exactly. There is a sensor for smoke in the restrooms. A bomb going off would activate it.

There is another point.

Why would a captain or first officer run the risk of getting caught with a bomb in his possession by airport security when he does not need a bomb.

This was done by someone who had no ability to directly control the aircraft.

Pilots know well how easy it is to crash an airplane.

I spent many years trying to prevent crashing!

A little slow and short on landing....dip a wing during the flare...hot and fast landings too far down the runway...set the altitude hold on the wrong number...takeoff on the wrong tank...there must be a hundred ways to crash without risking getting caught with a bomb.

This. If these sensors showed that the problems were only in the front of the plane, and Shoebat found the pilot had friendship with terrorists, he may have brought the bomb on board.

A320 cockpit interior..

Is the bathroom behind the gentleman seated in the jumpseat? I think the bomb was placed somewhere in this cockpit area;

Yes, a pilot can crash a plane without a bomb.

But there was a bomb on board this one. The fireball was seen by many. The belongings all have holes blown in them and are very jagged.

Jump seat go boom! It was that area where side window of cockpit got blown out and forward right windshield as well. That bomb was placed inside the cockpit which also blew out the bathroom wall.

Check the ground crew!

My guess is that the fragmented bodies, belongings, etc., have little to do with the bomb.

My guess is that when that aircraft went into the 360 degree turn, its airspeed and turn resulted in G-forces so great that the aircraft disintegrated so violently that it had the same effect as a bomb.

Whether the black boxes had power to record what happened at that point, I have no idea.

Pure guess on my part, but I do know that aircraft of that type will exceed their maximum structural loads in a split second.

The investigation will discover whether the bombs effect was localized to the flight deck or whether it was large enough to cause disintegration of passengers and the main fuselage.

You seem to have expert knowledge. It could be that the bomb’s effect or placement was just enough to destabilize the plane and natural forces broke it up. Either way, there was a bomb, and it must have killed the pilots right off — I hope it did all of the poor passengers etc too.

Saw those gears shifted last night - talking heads were using "accident" in their reports.

It's an election year, and everyone knows that Obama's approach to terrorism has worked 100%. Showing love to Muslims has virtually eliminated radical Islamic terrorism (not that there ever was such a thing).

Besides, Trump said the T word... so we must prove him wrong!

I am not an expert.

But I flew in business aviation for 40 years and was exposed to quite a few pilots that flew the big iron.

And I read a lot of accident reports over the years.

They know where the plane is but they have not retrieved the flight data recorders at this point. I read they are sending out a submersible to try to find it.
