Mr. Trump was addressing a gathering at the 29th annual Rolling Thunder motorcycle run, a vast event over Memorial Day weekend that is dedicated to accounting for military members taken as prisoners of war or listed as missing in action.

No one told Trump that Obama had some roads blocked off that prevented a lot of Rolling Thunder from getting to the rally...
Excellent use of photography by the New York Times...Cutting the picture so it did not show the crowd....

And the Waco dust-up still looks fishy from here. A dragnet that sought to embroil all manner of bikers in accusations on account of a handful of fools who got into a gun fight (ok, when are they going to do that to the Rap Music Industry?) it might be Obama’s way of getting back at veterans, who have a large representation among bikers.

I always wanted to attend Rolling Thunder, but it was a hell of a long ride to DC on my Fat Boy from Northern Michigan, and I could never make it. And those bikers are true Patriots.
I lost so many friends and many had barely survived that I've been an off-road biker only ever since.
And now my Son rides a KTM Super Duke.
The Waco thing? Bikers are people too! It ain't right what the Waco Machine has put them through.

Trump said he expected his speech would be reminiscent of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., referring to King’s 1963 “I Have A Dream” speech on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, but that crowd restrictions kept it from being as big.
“I thought this would be like Dr. Martin Luther King where people were lined up from here all the way to the Washington Monument,” he said. “But unfortunately they aren’t allowed to come in.”
Looks like he found out, doesn’t it?????
