Cruz is the biggest political ars of the century - Heidi will end up leaving him.
Heidi is the driving force behind this.
Yet he’d rather see Hillary get elected than Trump. It may be a policy thing, or that he wants a shot in 2020 (and still things he has a chance), or he wants Hillary go get his wife a promotion.
Whatever the reason, he wants Hillary to win this year. If he didn’t want her he’d do everything he can to stop her - he did the opposite of trying to stop her last night.

Yes, he could have even said that he and Trump have differences, and that there are personal issues that he is still upset about that he hopes the two of them can discuss and address, but then go on to say that he puts country and principle before all else except God and family, and that he will therefore fight with Trump to defeat Hillary and preserve liberty in America. It would have been easy, fallen short of a full endorsement, and been the right thing to do. He just can’t get beyond himself.

My first vote as a new Texan was for him, but I won’t make that mistake again.

I agree. He’s the type that is lead by his boss, I mean wife.
I wanted to like him, until I learned more about his wife. Nowadays, we are not just voting for the one, but the entire married package. Kinda like when my dad told me that I wasn’t just marrying my wife, but her entire family.
