Sarcasm is about the only way to keep sane anymore.

I agree. Everyone knows the Amish joke is a way to keep sane in an insane world. It’s a reverse way of saying how peaceful the Amish are. Some cultures really are more peaceful than others.

I’m very tired of hearing that the Muslim religion is a religion of peace. that the acts of violence are the acts of a Lone Wolf and Workplace violence crap from the admin. And now the new one, we don’t know the motive. Allahu Akbar doesn’t tell us anything. His name is Mohammed doesn’t help. The fact that he’s from a Muslim country doesn’t tell us anything either.

An Amish joke is the least of our problems.

Their heirs quite literally disappeared for some reason ;>

I am not good at sports, so no. We went to Munich only 3 times. One in 1963 when our son was 6 weeks old and my husband registered our son with the American Consulate. Than we went to the Octoberfest a few years later. The third time was in 1970 when our daughter was 6 weeks old and he registered her birth with the American Consulate.
