Sanders Backers Storm Media Tent As Clinton Accepts Nomination

Diehard supporters of Sen. Bernard Sanders stormed media tents and staged a sit-in Tuesday night minutes after Hillary Clinton officially claimed the party’s presidential nomination, injecting another round of drama into the convention and pouring cold water on claims Democrats are fully uniting behind their White House nominee.

Hundreds of Sanders backers, most carrying signs backing their candidate, conducted what seemed to be a well-coordinated march from the Wells Fargo Center to the media tents just outside the arena. They said that party officials were trying to confiscate Sanders signs inside Wells Fargo

They just need to stop and think and they would see that Bernie was and is as much a part of the system as the rest of the DNC otherwise he would not have folded like he did.

With (1) that kind of convention support, (2) that Hillary Clinton did not win enough delegates obtained by voters and (3) there was a chance super delegates could have been turned.

It was a good chance he had. But he quit.

I think that you are on the right track. But like Ted Cruz transferred $500K to Carly Fiorina’s campaign after she had suspended her efforts, you can bet that the price for Bernie’s cave and subsequent support for Hillary was HIS campaign debt. Oh, and BTW, Bernie needs a personal plane to carry him from place to place while the general election campaigning is going on.
