Howdy, LUV!

The day was ok. Nothing to get excited about. Visited Clara at the nursing home and did the grocery shopping.

Not cooler today but with the cold front moving this direction, it was windy. That made it feel not quite so bad.

You have a good day? It was a day off, wasn’t it?

Howdy, PRO!

Sounds like it was grocery day for both of us, but I didn’t get to enjoy a yummy shrimp basket. That sounds sooooo good!

Still toasty here BUT it’s SUPPOSED to be cooler the next two or three days. And wet. We’ll see if it happens.

You have a stronger stomach than I do. LOL! No way I could make myself listen to the jerk. I changed the channel when I got out of the shower, expecting the 10:00 news, and quickly hit the mute button when his mug showed up on the tube. ergh!

Howdy, Kathy.

Bummer your sister’s leaving so soon. Would have been nice if she could have stayed longer.
Sounds like she’s having “fun” with your mom this evening. LOL

Howdy, Conor. *Hugz*

Bummer about your heat pump!!! They seem to always go out at the worst times, don’t they? Glad it’s working now and you can cool off.

It was a day off. Didn’t do much. I did most of my work last week so I could goof off today. Tomorrow...not so much. LOL!

I hope that cool front arrives soon for you! It’s been a bloody hot summer! It was “only” 95 here today. Not too awful, but clouds would have helped. I keep hoping for some more rain, but it’s not forecast. sigh

Well, at least you got one goof-off day. :-)

It HAS been a hot as heck summer, hasn’t it? And it just goes on and on and on. We haven’t broken any temperature records here but it’s been a while since we’ve had such a long stretch of 90 degree days.

There weren’t a lot of clouds here, either, though they were all around the horizon. It might have been almost comfortable if there had been some clouds along with the wind.

Good evening, Mooch...any exciting reading/proofing going on?

Pictures of our troops at work and play...we remember what they do for us and our freedom.

No rain yet but they keep telling us it’s coming. Lots of “ugly” north of us on the radar but another system to the south is hampering its progress in our direction. Apparently we’ll get caught in the “collision” of the two tomorrow.
We’ll see. And hope for the best!

Any news on the fires up there? Did they finally get put out?

I tried to listen to obummer, but couldn’t take it after less than 30 seconds. They have no shame. They have no compunction about lying through their teeth. YUCK!!

Now her “pampering” during the day will cease. She’ll have to wait til I get home to let her loose in the house.

Peg and I’ve been talking about her maybe coming up every couple months. I’ll pay part of her ticket...as my friend at work said...”part of the price of doing business”. She’s right.

Something she’ll have to get used to. It’s for her safety even if she can’t realize it.

If she’ll go up there every couple of months, it’ll be worth paying part of her ticket. You need breaks more often than you’ve been getting them so far.
