So no matter if he was good for the country, he didn’t bend to worship another POLITICIAN, so that nulls all he stands for?

LISTEN TO YOURSELVES!

Well if he was a fighter then he should have endorsed Trump. In that district it cost him votes to be talking bad about Trump.

That was really a big mistake on Huelskamps part to go anti-Trump before we even knew much about him. Even the NeverTrump stuff perturbed me and I emailed him about it. After talking to his people, I got the feeling they knew it was a big mistake, although they would come right out and admit that.

Despite that, Huelskamp has been a solid conservative for us. I just couldn't pull the trigger for the pro-amnesty chamber of commerce establishment candidate.

Hey wise one, how do you expect Marshall will aid Trump? Do you have any supporting quotes or statements?

No, what happened was that he didn't understand the mood of the nation and put his own narrow views of what a conservative is before the best interests of the nation!

Another self-righteous religious zealot.

Huelskamp was anti-Trump and gleeful about it.

He wasn't a true conservative, he was a self-righteous religious prig like Cruz.

Too bad you chose wrongly!

How so???

Huelskamp was the most conservative candidate in this race and this is a conservative site is it not??? He may have made some mistakes that cost him the race but that doesn't change that he was the most conservative candidate in this race. I held up my end on what this site represents. I make no apologies for that.

Huelskamp didn't get on Fox and criticize Trump?

I have no idea other than Tim was among Ted Cruz early next supporters but is a rock-ribbed conservative who never spoke an unkind word about Trump. He is without a conservative peer locally!

John Boehner is laughing himself silly.

Shows how much power filthy DC money spends to take out a true conservative and personal friend.

He was anti-Trump and he needed to go-good riddance.

Too bad you can't see what we are fighting for!

Rep. Tim Huelskamp, R-Kan. — Huelskamp said he left a July 7 meeting with Trump believing Trump is “going to beat Hillary Clinton.” Huelskamp added that “four years of another Clinton in the White House would be a disastorous doubling down of the failed policies of the past eight,” and closed with, “Onward to victory for us in November!”

Heulskamp is an idiot for being a NEVERTRUMPER and sticking with Cruz!

If President Trump is to get anything done, he needs to get all the Cruzers out of both Houses! They'd NEVER support him on anything!

In the video below the congressman outlines how Donald Trump fails all applied social litmus tests for conservative purity because Mr. Trump is not: religious enough, preachy enough, politically correct enough, and in a general sense is too crass for the moral authority wing of the religious right.

As Congressman Huelskamp outlines, those who are elected to legislate on appropriate bathroom issues, tone and manners, gender roles, as well as appropriate hem lengths, distance between dance partners and the dangers of modern cultural music, are aghast that a republican electorate would consider such vulgar “New York values” (<— yes Alice, he actually said that).

Nothing self-righteous about it, just stating facts about Cruz and his supporters who remain anti-Trump.
