“An excellent chance? Based on what? The coffee grounds? The data and the fact that no Republican has carried Pennsylvania since 1988 indicate otherwise. Positive thinking is not a substitute for reality. “

Neither is being a f**king quitter a thoughtful alternative.

Is this what you tell your kids?

” Sorry, son, but that team is really good at baseball.....you better just forfeit. Screw it! Just rip off the uniform, hand it to them, and run for the hills. Never mind getting in the damn car! Set it on fire! Why the hell did I ever sign you up for a sport!?!?!”

He’s one of those guys who leaves when his team is down in the first quarter. We don’t even know if these polls are real and Trump has a message that hits with average workers.

If the entire establishment is against you, you are on the right track.

If the campaign had unlimited resources they would fight everywhere. But no campaign ever has unlimited resources. Certainly not this campaign. If Trump is in Pennsylvania that means he’s not in Florida or Ohio or Colorado. There’s no evidence of a path for him to win Pennsylvania - he would be smart to use his resources (time, staff and money) wisely.

“If the campaign had unlimited resources they would fight everywhere.”

I would like to see the Trump super pacs start taking it to Clinton the way Bush did with Kerry. Bush stayed with the high end message and the pacs did the “swiftboating” and it worked out well. Clinton has a lot more baggage than Kerry did.

We don’t even know if these polls are real and Trump has a message that hits with average workers.

His message IS resonating with average (white) workers, which is why Trump is polling better than most Republicans in Western and Northeastern PA. That's great. The problem is that his message isn't resonating with more affluent families, and his numbers are much worse than most Republicans' in the crucial Philly suburbs and exurbs. The loss in Montgomery County, Bucks County, etc more than offset any gains in Allegheny, Cambria, Etc.

Trump told Maria Bartiromo this morning that his campaign has some “good state information, we actually have some good polling information.”

If true, that explains a barrage of anti-Trump comments on many web-sites. These people have lot of time on their hands! The working stiffs are too busy making a living.

Total resources spent by Clinton in PA = original planned spending + Trump effort in PA.

In other words, resources available to Clinton in OH+FL+CO
= Total Clinton resources for OH+FL+CO - Clinton resources spent in PA.

She won’t get as much support as Obama did. Not even close.. Something is way off on this poll. Not sure what but no way she’s got 50% support in this state... She’s weak in Philly/eastern Pa... Far weaker than any D seeking statewide I can think of in a long time...she’ll win philly region for sure but won’t come close to the margins she’ll need to carry th state.
