Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein promised to prosecute the oil company ExxonMobil for “lying” to the public about global warming.
Stein’s promise comes after Democratic lawmakers have been urging the Obama administration and state attorneys general to investigate Exxon for allegedly misleading the public about global warming by funding groups skeptical of government climate regulations.
My attorney general will prosecute Exxon for lying to the world about climate change. We need to end fossil fuels before it’s too late.

I’m curious about what statute she intends to prosecute Exxon for violating. Will she be repealing just the First Amendment or the whole Bill of Rights? Maybe she can get Baltimore DA Marilyn Mosby to charge them with “depraved heart” research funding.
The courtroom will give Exxon a bully pulpit to make their case. AGW is what will be on trial.
