He’s right. If such stunts spread to other players in the NFL I will right the Commissioner a letter and tell him my days of watching the NFL on TV are over.

May well be a drug or religion, but I cut the DirecTV NFL package and will never again subscribe for as long as Flag hating CK is in the league. I am so P.O.’d (o’d) about this entire affair that I will never support the league again. NFL wants to support his rights... and they are wrong.

Celebrity athletes are a relatively new phenomena but the Romantics like Blake and Shelley elevated artists to prophets and seers who are fonts of esoteric wisdom. That’s why actors are taken seriously by a certain segment of the population.

I imagine the sponsors of that flag football team have been notified of how their products will not be purchased due to connection to their football politicians.

Anyone who tries to use sports as a political platform is going to get a backlash.

Which is why I no longer watch ESPN .....

They know it, but they are more worried about what the big mouth BLM supporters on ESPN are going to say if they try to do anything about it.

I quit watching most sports, years ago. To many rich, pampered thugs.

Too many commercials.

I have many better things to do than sit all afternoon, watching commercials, and thugs.

Oh, and performance enhancement drugs too.

Instead of sitting on my rear, watching others exercise, I get out and exercise myself.

Yup. The NFL/football is bigger than all the other US pro sports combined because it has a huge number of very casual fans who just aren’t political and probably don’t care one way or the other about the national anthem anyhow.

I bet ratings just go up from the free hype and publicity this story is giving them. The NFL’s popularity only went up after fruity celebration dancing and chest slapping became common place. It really should surprise no one that the NFL is the most popular, look around at the state of general culture.
