Delay the election? LSM floating Hillary may die? Trump looks to be in excellent shape. Why now? The fake polls are tightening? You clowns seeing you're going to lose in November.

Nah nah you guys are going down.

Now why is the MSM talking about a candidate dying?

After all, Trump’s in fine health.

We have the precedent of the election taking place on schedule during the War of 1861-1865. Even if either candidate died immediately before the election, people vote for electors, who use their best judgement. I suppose for the Republicans it would be Pence, and Sessions would be sensible VP choice. For the Dems? Who the heck knows? Kaine is no unifier, but they might have to go with him anyway.

If she does croak, I want to see the death certificate — and not a “scan” or Adobe Illustrator file with 28 layers.

Come to think of it, if she croaks before the debates they’ll stuff her and put her in a chair, and a ventriloquist will debate for her — and the media will claim there’s “nothing to see here, she’s never looked better” - (technically true).

The election is Constitutional matter and would occur as set. If people are then clueless and stupid enough to vote for a dead person, I suspect it first is up to the Electoral College to confirm their stupidity, thus putting it to the House to decide or handed to the dead candidate’s VP. Curious academic discussion about the What If.

Exactly. They are in panic mode at just the thought of Trump winning.

What a glorious day it would be if he did.

Bill could very well not make it as a last ditch effort (and “final revenge” on hillary’s part) to sway the vote for hillary.

The death of a candidate will NOT cancel, suspend, or delay an election.

A bigger issue, though, is the possibility of a Faithless elector, somebody elected as an elector for Candidate A, who casts their electoral vote for somebody else.

Given the "NeverTrump" games, I think this is a real possibility -- that Trump wins the election on electoral votes, but one or more of "his" electors casts his electoral vote for Hillary (or Cruz).

If a presidential candidate dies after the party convention and before the election, particularly before ballots are printed, the party can select a new person to represent the party on the ticket. The choice will depend on the party’s own rules.
