A coin toss has determined that Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton will go first during Wednesday evening's Commander in Chief forum, hosted by the IAVA (Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America) and airing on NBC and MSNBC.
Clinton will take questions from moderator Matt Lauer and members of the audience -- which will largely be comprised of veterans and active service members -- for 30 minutes before Donald Trump takes the stage.
Both candidates stated a preference to be the second candidate to appear.
Dafna Linzer, managing editor for NBC News and MSNBC, performed the coin toss.
The event -- which marks the first time Clinton and Trump will be on the same stage, albeit not at the same time -- will be simulcast live on both networks at 8 p.m. ET.

There was an article in the New York Post about how is going to talk about plans to win his home state of New York.
it will back fire big time if they are soft on Hillary but hard on trump. I suspect that both will get a grilling but Hillary will have a cheat sheet given to her before the questioning. I suspect she has known what questions she and trump will be asked where trump does not have the same cheat sheet.
I watch a lot of MMA fights and it’s well known that the judges tend to give more weight to the activity that happens toward the end of a round. Fighter A can with the first 3 1/2 minutes of a round and then Fighter B can win the last 1 1/2 minutes and it’s fairly likely that the judges will give the round to Fighter B.
Same with this scenario. Trump will have his say after Illary has lied about hers, so the viewers are far more likely to walk away with a positive impression of Trump’s performance and ideas. It’s a smart move for him to have made.
The main difference between the debate and my analogy above is that Trump will likely demolish Illary for the entire time he’s on stage.
I’m thinking they may not get to hear each other?

It won’t matter because Matt will go light with Hillary....they’ll try very hard to put Trump in a corner as this thing moves along...

Am wondering if they’ll let Hillary have a melt down with her coughing....should it begin? I’m wondering if they aren’t going to make her look like the under dog for a time?....recently the media began to speak about her coughing....is the plan to then to make her out to be the poor old soul so close to the finish line she gets a sympathy vote?
I don’t think they’d be going to the extremes, to cover for her, if they were going to try to use it for sympathy votes.
Bottom line....NO ONE wants an ill CIC. Not even the die hard Dem voters.
