While the grand opening is scheduled for late October, today the luxury Trump International Hotel, Washington D.C. is scheduled to begin checking in its first guests as part of a low key 'soft' opening.
The hotel has a prestigious address on Pennsylvania Avenue, near the White House and the National Mall, and is built inside the Old Post Office building, which is on the National Register of Historic Places.
The building has undergone a $200 million overhaul and now boasts a 10,000 square-foot Spa by Ivanka Trump, a BLT Prime restaurant and 263 guestrooms and suites boasting 14 to 16 foot ceilings, "soaring windows, glittering crystal sconces" and six-foot tubs.

a big sign outside that reads: TRUMP IS COMING... 2016
$500 a night for that location is not out of line.

No seriously, look at the diversity of this picture. It’s a spitting image of what America is supposed to be. All races, different creeds coming together. How in the Hell can critics say that Trump is a racist?

They really can’t.
Is there a Congressional hourly rate?
Pray America wakes
The rent is high of course but for DC this is very reasonable.
Well I’m neither a senator not a lobbyist nor the moneybags that can hire lobbyists. So $500 a nite motels are just not part of my life. Somehow I’m still happy though
Rosewood Washington $695
Mandarin Oriental $595
St. Regis $540
Ritz-Carlton Pentagon City $599
Ritz-Carlton Georgetown $695
I notice that Giuliani and General Flynn seem to be with Trump 100% of the time now. What is that about?
$500 per night is reasonable for nice digs, not out of line at all. I have friends and family who pay over $1000 per night for nice places. Try renting a luxury home, it'll set you back far more than that. An acquaintance regularly does that to house several couples while having parties near tourist venues. $500 is not much these days in comparison.
Great timing! Trump can stay there while he waits for the White House to be disinfected and fumigated for him and Melania.
“Its the Adorable Deplorables!
Destroying the democrat talking points is so easy.
Just take a picture.
$500 a night is really good deal for that part of DC
Put in perspective, the Borgata in Atlantic City is $449 a night this weekend
The Revel in Atlantic was over $600 night (now defunct)
Trump Taj Mahal (defunct) will close on October 10th
Obviously the staff and a couple frineds like Guiliani.
The historic Hay-Adams Hotel on 16th Street, across from the White House, starts at $499 a night.
Holiday Inn by the Air & Space Museum is a little over $200. haha
Must really anger some people that he is showing how to create jobs.
I would not want to sleep in any bed Hillary or BJ ever occupied!
