Poll: Clinton's national lead narrows to 1 point

Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump by just 1 point nationally in a new Fox News poll, the latest to show that the former secretary of State’s advantage has withered away in the past week.

In a four-way matchup, Clinton gets 41 percent support among likely voters, Trump has 40 percent, Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson

has 8 percent and Green Party nominee Jill Stein is at 3 percent.

In a head-to-head matchup, Trump leads Clinton 46 percent to 45 percent.

The poll was conducted in the wake of Clinton leaving a 9/11 memorial event on Sunday due to “overheating” from her pneumonia, which she was diagnosed with on Friday.

Clinton continues to be favored by voters of color, who prefer her over Trump by a margin of 51 points, and by women, among whom Clinton leads by 13 points.

She is also up by 16 points over Trump among voters living in households that make less than $50,000 a year.

Meanwhile, Trump has significant leads among men (13 points) and white voters without a college degree (31 points).

The poll surveyed 867 likely voters from Sept. 11-14. It has a margin of sampling error of 3 percentage points.

Mrs. Bill Clinton was all smiles today in public, I'd bet she's going ballistic behind closed doors.

“Mrs. Bill Clinton was all smiles today in public...”

I thought HRC seemed listless and irritable during her press conference today. What did other freepers think?

When Trump is up by two they called it tied, When Hillary is up by one she has a small lead

Yep, buried lede for sure. Nonetheless, even seeing the Empress’ lead shrink to 1 is enough to make the establishment crap their pants.

I know I shouldn’t get greedy - but I want a landslide. Blue states turning red. A real mandate that shuts the dems up for about 6 months.

This is nonsensical - according to Fox, Johnson and Stein together take more from Trump than from Clinton. Fox has some methodology issues.
